I happened upon this version of the song as I was wanting to listen to the Beach Boys version. So I gave it a play and was caught by surprise by Willie's soulful touch. I now play this tune at least once a day because I love the song and the treatment Willie gave it. I can make out the words better on this song and now I have a better appreciation for the song and the work Brian did on it. Willie is a master at his craft and gives any genre of music that he try's a magic touch. Thanks.

From an album the Beach Boys did in the mid 90s called Stars and Stripes where they colaberated with Country artists on Country versions of their songs. Great version!

In a few days will be the 7th anniversary of losing my son, Jordan, to a drug overdose. I've leaned on this song since the early days of losing him and am comforted now.
