Inhale fully from stomach to chest to head, then let the exhale happen naturally. As says, “DEEPLY IN / FULLY IN and let go…” Fill your lungs deeper than you thought possible and then let the air out! The effects of this practice will last all day!
*Do not do this practice before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or any other environment/place where it might be dangerous to faint!!!
Wim Hof breathing guided - 5 rounds with Alpha Brain Waves:
[00:00] round 1) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 2 minutes
[04:47] round 2) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 2 min 30s
[09:53] round 3) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 3 minutes
[15:28] round 4) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 3 min 30s
[21:35] round 5) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 4 minutes
[28:20] relax!
[30:00] subscribe, like & share!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Inhale through the nose or mouth and exhale through the mouth letting the air out. Keep a steady pace and use your midriff fully. Repeat this for 40 times.
2) Then let the air out and hold for as long as you can without force. Hold the breath until you experience the gasp reflex.
3) Inhale to full capacity. Feel your chest expanding. When you are at full capacity, hold the breath for around 10 ~ 15 seconds.
Repeat this process for 5 times!
IMPORTANT: Do this breathing technique in a comfortable seat-either in a chair or on cushions on the floor. Do not do the breathing while standing, driving, in the shower, or immersed in water.
You may feel tingling in the hands, feet, or face. If the sensation of light-headedness gets too intense, just pause until you feel settled and then continue. Listen to your body and go with the flow.

I am 76 years old,I have been practising aver 3 times a week. Nearly there. Mixed with cold showers, a bit of yoga, swimming and walking. So far no medication yet. This is the best breathing practice so far. I can feel the benefit of the 5 rounds. At 3 to 4 round there is the feeling of tingling and build up of saliva and the breath hold gets better. Thank you Mr Wim Hoff.

1st time I held my breath for 3 minutes was today. I didn't think I could do it and starting at like 2 minutes 35 seconds I really struggled and started moving in a probably typical way people do when they think they need to breathe but want to not breathe and that lasted like 5 seconds then totally went away. Like as if I guess I was in fight or flight but I managed to force myself into sympathetic mode with my mind and was relaxed and not struggling after that and was VERY ENJOYABLE THANK YOU!!

I made it to 4 minutes for the first time in my life. I didn’t think I had the lung capacity for stuff like this, but now I realize, like many things in life, you just have to put the work in and have the right tools in your tool box. Thanks for helping me on this journey!

Have found this better than with the Om chanting. Its easy to lose yourself and be in harmony with the waves as opposed to being in rhythm with the chants. Found myself counting the Oms.
