Achieving success hinges on the proactive actions and steps you undertake to reach your goals. The process of building wealth necessitates cultivating positive habits, such as consistently allocating funds at regular intervals towards robust investment opportunities. Financial management, despite its critical importance, often becomes a topic avoided by many, eventually causing difficulties down the road. My sincere hope is that anyone who comes across this message is able to find success and fulfillment in life's endeavors!

Dear Tom, This is an amazing video, once more! I have been following your channel ever since I got to the USA, back in 2018. I have subscribed to other amazing channels with very good content but nothing is better than the content you create, how you develop your conversations or presentations and your fluency and proficiency. Man, you have a way with words! I look up to you in so many ways, especially because I would love to become at least 20% of what you are in terms of oratory and the beautiful use of the English language. You can judge by my writing style and the words I use that I am not a native speaker and I am still way far from getting closer to what you represent to me in terms of communication and eloquence. I hope the word idol does not have a bad connotation in English. I do know there is no better word in Spanish to name what I see in you, my friend. I am not a fanatic, I am a student and follower of your work. I am well aware that you may receive a ton of messages praising you. That is not my intention. I do look up to you and follow your recommendation as if they were a bible to me, but the reason of my message is related, precisely to the latter. I have stuck to all the instructions and recommendation to the letter. This my routine since November 2020: I wake up at 5am. (I go to bed at 9pm, despite the fact that we have a 3-year-old daughter). I meditate. I workout. I take a shower. I have my breakfast at 6:30am, lunch at 11am and dinner at 3pm, then fast until breakfast. (Partially also after reading the 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferris). I started this routine in 2020 and have attached to it since then. I am 48, just like you. Benefits: I lost 50 extra pounds that I had in 2020 and I have kept my weight on 170 lbs. I sleep a lot better. I quit alcohol in 2021. I quit smoking too. I have been part of three different businesses. I started my own small business a month ago. I have read a ton of books. I work a 9 to 5 as a teacher (7:30 to 4 actually) and from 4 to 8 I work in my office. I created my website (erictole.com), I have a tiny KZfaq channel in Spanish (I started a channel in English but my lack of confidence with the English language prevented me to continue with it). Why can I take off financially? I am stuck in debt from my previous business ventures and nothing seems to work out. I have read many books on finance. I watch podcasts and KZfaq videos. I have attended seminars. What is missing? My native language is Spanish. You can also judge by this writing that I am fluent in English. In fact, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English as a Second Language and teach English at a Community College. One of the reasons to become a teacher was precisely to overcome my lack of confidence with English. I speak a little bit of French (I was fluent in French but have lost some of it due to the lack of practice because I do not need to use it here in the USA). I would really love to hear from you, Tom. What are your thoughts on this? I could continue telling you the so many things I have done and my achievements, starting from the fact that I am Cuban and had to flee from communism in 2018 when I was 42 with my wife and my 9-year-old daughter. Please tell me something.

I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of real love if I haven’t witnessed my parents’ relationship slowly fall apart. Hey sir I am a 13 year old male and I am trying to better my life and I am trying to find my benefits and where I stand and what I am capable of, I thank you for helping me and every single day as you said you can want to do something but yet not achieve it. And I say this because I have made a lot of mistakes and I have been lacking the confidence and my skills to the point where it is very difficult to go back to what I do. And what I mean is some days I will want to do something and the next day I would not, and this just tells me that I do not have any goals and I am not where I need to be. And I tell myself like once a month I will change my self and I will be honest I never do it. And for example I would do something right for a week or two then I would lack whatever I tracked in the past couple days. And you have helped me come to realization even though I am a young male that I have to change my self. And I say this because I want to start off young and grow up to be the best I possibly can so then I will not grow up and turn out to be a bum or anything such. And sir I thank you for giving me the confidence to follow my heart and better my self.

If you appear to mature "too fast", you won't be able to really mature later on. It's much better to just have a childhood if at all possible and start taking things seriously on a heathy foundation MUCH later on. Consider that full cerebral function is only achieved at around 11-12 years of age. That means you have only had a year with full access to abstract thinking. For now, taking things easily and exploring is the way to go. Whatever it is, whatever happens, don't overload yourself! You can therefore grow.

Hello - you are still very young, please allow yourself some grace to work out this thing called life, without expecting perfection from yourself every moment, every week of your life. Brains continue to develop until the mid to late 20s. The area of the brain called the pre-frontal cortex is the last to develop. This is the area of the brain that involves logic, decision-making, organisation etc. This is why during adolescence teenagers can sometimes have strong feelings, as they are finding their confidence about themselves, finding their identity, discovering what it is they want to do. I am much older than you and one thing I have learnt is we continue to self-correct throughout our entire lives. The secret, as Tom tells us frequently, to keep on track is to set action steps that will lead you to your goals and at the same time if you do not take those steps one day, many days, is to be compassionate towards yourself, and gently bring yourself back to the path towards your goals. Nothing is solved by being too hard on yourself, but being hard on yourself can create negative feelings towards yourself. Learn to be your own best friend, and be kind to yourself. Being kind involves being okay when you decide you have mucked up. Don't think too much about mucking up, think about what step you want to take now and take it. Sometimes if we are feeling like we are constantly failing, we are trying too change too much at once. Just taking the next small step, and then the next small step after that, is the way forward. Set your routines around what works for you. For example, some people exercise as they get up, others exercise mid-morning, and yet others exercise in the afternoon or evening. I have a psychology degree, and I am picking up on some perfectionism in your message. I have been perfectionistic and it can create many barriers because someone who is perfectionistic is constantly seeing where they have not exactly got things to match their perfect plan, and then judge themselves negatively. I have learnt to be okay with not reaching my perfect plans, and be okay with the fact I have had a go, and gotten part way to my dream goal and have found this is way more satisfying than being constantly self-critical. You have good intentions for yourself - to be healthy and be successful. Know you will be okay in life, and you will have a good life. We learn to adapt and adjust.

This was inspiring to me especially having good bed routine. I will exercise and shower but not cold, along with starting to implement meditation in my morning routine. Have breakfast then see to my daily duties. 😊🙏🏾❤️

I hate how hard it would be to argue this 7 step life changer routine. I haven’t even started this challenge and can clearly see how dramatically it would change my existence. I was all in until you started talking about cold showers. It’s always gotta come to the Coldplay one way or another. I try to hit myself with full cold at the end of my hot showers and usually last about 27 seconds.

“Starve and freeze. You’ll be so fkn happy.” I love this channel. And I take what ya say seriously. It’s just a joke worth noting. It’s literally funny how much positivity can be generated from forcing controlled misery into your life.

I worked in retail all my life meaning flexible times and schedules! There is no way I be able to follow your sleep routine! My work day ends at 111 pm sometimes at 6 pm however I tried to wake up same time every day it won’t work because of my crazy hours! I’m successful in my career it’s because of my sleep / wake cycle being pretty flexible!⌛️

Brilliant, thank you! I am actually using this & it is helping! -- Well, Tom. 1:17:43 Now I want to talk about your review of the situation about investing in a house. It is incomlete, IMHO. I've heard Kiosaki & Ramit say what you are saying too. But, as a person, who rented all my life, I want to ask you: did you forget about rent payments!? To anyone who thinks of buying a house: YOUR MORTGAGE IS NOT YOUR ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, which makes your house a liability. YOUR MORTGAGE IS THE RENT THAT YOU PAY TO YOURSELF (c) (and oftentimes it is cheaper than rent). I actually would like to copyright the last statement! I do not think anyone has said it like this yet 😉 I've decided to write all this, because this message (see time-tag) makes people think that they are not loosing anything, if they are renting. You are, guys!

If you're groggy after a nap you're napping for too long. The Spanish figured this out a long time ago. A 20=30 minute nap is enough to refresh you without entering deep sleep and waking up groggy.

Thank you so much for this. I am so inspired and excited to follow your plan. But, QUESTION...If you want to include house work/chores/menial tasks in this daily routine, what is your suggestion, in terms of WHEN to do it, where on the priority list is it? I have an extreme block when it comes to this. I can't seem to be okay with doing anything until after I have made my bed, done the dishes, taken care of the cats, and done all of my daily chores before going to the gym. It is extremely hard to focus on anything until after I have done all of this, by then it's noon. I wake up at 8:00 a.m.. I can't get up any earlier, as I am a musician on a night time gig schedule, so sometimes even that is too early. My sleep time depends on what time I can actually get into bed, which is sometimes 3 am. HELP!

He clearly says your body needs a natural rhythm to get good sleep. Musician and good sleep unfortunately do not go together unless you are willing to make a sacrifice. Sounds like you've figure out how to get some stuff done in the morning, whats the issue? You have identified the block in your head and now work around it, good work. I am not able to do anything consistently.

Tom, you're very specific on routine, which gives us some valuable insight. However, it isn't the routine that is powerful, it's your discipline. I have no appetite, in this moment of my life, to go to bed at 9pm and wake at 4am. I would like to take a version of this without some of the specific time parameters.

I have excuses because I am old, have chronic pains, fibromyalgia, TOS (all 3), several surgeries, it’s mighty challenging to instantaneously jumped out of bed. You are encouraging me to do much better. Much thanks.

Problem is if you do not have a fixed schedule for work or when you have to travel a lot. My goal is 3 times per week workout - PM time. , miminum 6-7 hours sleep. Eat a good breakfast in the morning. Stay hungry and reward yourself in the evening I.e. anime, video game etc... rinse and repeat. Weekend more time for recovery and more time for work on other projects that could not make it during the week.

I get hungry so often so quickly. My best sleeps are when I go to bed with an absolutely full belly. Breathing through my nose dries out my nose. If your mouth and throat get dry while sleeping, you used too much tooth paste when brushing your teeth before bed.

Love your podcast/interviews. Introduced my daughters to this mindset (in their late 20's). For Xmas I bought them "Mindset, The Prince, The Thomas Sowell Readers, some Manly P. Hall, and some Jerk seasoning sauce...lol (hey, that what I like)... :) Not into this type of "do this" content though, this should be another channel. :). But, all good. I'm in Canada and into horses. Try getting someone from the thoroughbred industry for an interview. You would be extremely surprised. I can give you a few intros. Jockeys can make $10-20M/yr for 6-/+months. Looking forward to your next interview. BTW - I still think this "....." should be another channel. :) Stay healthy, stay safe and...Blessings from Canada! :)

Tom I have been watching your videos about 3-5 day water fasts. I'm going to do it. I have prostate cancer and need to fully cleanse my body. I am a holistic chef and have helped heal people through raw foods and KETO way of living. My question is (and please don't think I'm being funny) can I smoke a hit or two of marijuana during this fast? Also can I go to the gym and work out (of course not heavy at all but doing some movement and strengthening).

I love Tom and love his work. I agree with him 99.9% except the fact that he said the house pruchase is a liability in current time!, Unless you buy a property middle of nowhere this is the best time to buy property especially in the North America. Due to wars around the world a lot of migration and huge demand in housing market!, so it is the best investment you can do right now if you can !

Showering in cold water until shivering!? Im very skeptical on this advice. Wim Hof/Cold Plunge advice seems to say if you start shivering youve stayed in longer than you can consciously control the warm up so unconscious mechanism of shivering takes over

What kinda frustrates me is that these "biohackers" have so many rules and things they do and in the end I don't find that they look young at all, they look their age, even older sometimes. I wish there was someone who would look 20+ yrs younger than their actual age telling us what they do.
