Another way to open command line is press [ "windows" + "r" ] then type "cmd", then you won't have to type cmd every time (because run remembers the last command you used)

Command Prompt is a command line interpreter application available in most Windows operating systems. Command Prompt is used to execute entered commands. Most of those commands are used to automate tasks via scripts and batch files, perform advanced administrative functions, and troubleshoot and solve certain kinds of Windows issues. Command Prompt is officially called Windows Command Processor but is also sometimes called the command shell or cmd prompt, or even referred to by its filename cmd.exe.

The fastest way to open cmd would be to create a keyboard shortcut for it. You can do that by opening cmd file location from start menu (not from windows key search) and then right clicking it to get into properties. Under shortcut, you can assign a keyboard shortcut, like ctrl+alt+t or something convenient for you.

Pro tip: If you're new like me and don't want to make a mistake that could potentially destroy your pc. Use Virtualbox and run windows 10, then if you make any mistakes you can just restart and is separate from your "host" pc. You can run any OS you want and all free.

Something I learned while refreshing my memory on using command line, if you have a win10 or newer and you're having trouble navigating the interface, make sure you know whether your files are not in OneDrive. I tried to pull up something that's on my desktop, CL couldn't find it, I tried and tried until I opened a GUI file and looked at where it was kept, and it was in OneDrive, which threw off my search parameters. Once I transferred my desktop folder from OneDrive it was smooth sailing after!

I didn't know about the Tab shortcut! :D I'm gonna build a pedal on the ground that sends the Tab command to the cmd-window, so I don't have to reach for the key on the keyboard when typing ^^ And set up my webcam to recognize facial-expressions, so it automatically undo's anything I recently typed if I look angry xD
