In this video we dive into cutting and finishing the fenders on the Ultimate 800 for clearance for the 40 inch tires. We also decided that we needed to be able to see through the floor. #rockcrawler #4x4 #offroad #vintage4x4

Those tube fenders turned out really nice! Has me considering that look for my jeep. The floor windows seem useless to me. I don't understand the value of seeing the backside of the front tires. Can you explain the value of these for me? Do you have a link to the guy's 'Trout' you got this idea from? Thanks.

The windows in the floor give you a little extra sight for front tire placement, and to help you see if your axles tubes are getting hung up on anything. You can see Jeff's rig on Ultimate Adventure videos and his @ihpartsamerica channel.
