What an amazing piece of engineering. This will really benefit many windsurfers. I hope it will be a success.

Its such an obvious solution to an obvious problem. Bought one as soon as the video ended.........I'm amazed the "big brand names" in windsurfing haven't done this already considering their deep pockets to cover for the engineering, technology and development costs involved to get something like this through R&D and to the market. Well done Tripple D........Just make sure your patent is water tight. No pun intended.

The two engineers have done an awesome job and have spend a lot of their own money and time. Very impressed by them. I have seen all the prototypes and know how much money they spend. They are very passionate about the extension and windsurfing

It is developed and testet at Strand Horst, where you have gras to rigging your Gear. How ist it to use it on sandy beach and salt water?
@surferkaspert46793 ай бұрын
I have used it in the North Sea. I was told to put it in freshwater after some uses in saltwater. I don’t think it is more or less sensitive to sand then a normal extension

It moves the rollers 0,7 cm closer together or apart with each press on the button. There is total of 4 times. Aka 2,8 cm movement of the rollers

We have been doing this on raceboards for 20 years ....... Looks like the old man never saw it, or never raced competitively. No batteries, No extra weight. Pulleys attached to the mast. It allows for VERY precise setting. Same principle is used of the outhaul with race sails. Best part: It does not cost 500 Euros !!!!!!! some pulleys and some rope, that's all. Fine tuning ? Put marks on the ropes you use. This is just a gimmick for Germans on holiday in Greece.

Also a good system. But it doesn’t work on the fly.
@user-oe1mb9hu9i3 ай бұрын
@@henricwiegenbroeker8225 Of course it does THAT is exactly when you need it sailing a Raceboard - ON THE FLY ! And THAT is how it is used. WHY have a system fitted if it didn't work on the fly ? You are a joke. You CHANGE the downhaul AND the OUTHAUL of your sail WHILE Racing for the different headings - and different speeds and you can also use it to wither power up your rig or de-power it if needed.
@henricwiegenbroeker82252 ай бұрын
@@user-oe1mb9hu9iYou’re hilarious! I’ve used that system for racing. It works ok. But adjusting it while planing, for example, in 20+ knots?! Good luck!
@user-oe1mb9hu9i2 ай бұрын
@@henricwiegenbroeker8225 Well; you obviously were NOT a very successful "racer" then if it didn't work ! LOL. Good luck with this perfectly inadequate solution for a problem that has already been solved. Cheers.
