“Windy” (passage female columbarius merlin) on day of introduction to lure.

Yesterday she jumped full leash length numerous times and today 2-3 times about 6 feet indoors, so I presented the lure as I usually do-on a towel near the perch where we’ve been hopping-and the jumped right down and began to feed. Allowed me to tidbit and pick her up twice. She’s still a bit heavy at this weight but great behavior for first time.

Hi Matt. How do you attach that tail protector?

Clint it's just painter's tape. Lightly adhesive. Dries and comes off easily every couple days. I only use it until the bird is flying to the fist and sitting reliably on a perch.
