Thank you for making this video and really hitting on the points concerning quality parts. In today's economy, it is really easy to entice people to buy parts from a company because the price point is so much "cheaper" than the quality part. As someone who has investigated 100's of motorcycle accidents quality really does make a huge difference. Sadly, I was once removed from a motorcycle rally because I pissed off a knockoff helmet dealer when I noticed a helmet a friend had bought was a total piece of crap and called out the seller for it. As an avid rider, I cannot stress enough, quality parts and equipment are critically important. Please buy good quality parts! Thank you Cruiseman and WingStuff for talking about this point too.

Thanks from Fairhaven MA! I'm a fan of Chris's channel and of course Wingstuff! Just ask my bank account about the Wingstuff! Hahaha! I can't tell you both how much I appreciate you promoting quality products and only endorsing and selling quality products. Your motorcycle is not the place to cheap out on parts! I bought my first GW last August, a 2002 GL1800 with about 49K on it I call the Great Pumkin, after riding Yamaha Venture's for about 30 years. I watched Chris's video about what to look for before buying a GW and have followed him since. One of my biggest frustrations with the Ventures, was not being able to find after market parts and accessories for it. So, when I found Wingstuff, I was thrilled at the selection of quality parts available for the GW's... I thank you both for your passion about these amazing bikes. Believe it or not, I even think about Uncle Frank when driving through Providence, RI ! What a family treasure!

Hello again Chris/Ric, I’m in the same camp as you when it comes to putting a car tire on my motorcycle! There may be some advantages to having car tires on your motorcycle but I feel the dynamics between a car tire and a motorcycle tire is so different; leaning versus turning!!

Great content with a couple of awesome creators.. much thanks End notes motorcycle manufactures have engineering departments that specify things like tires and lubes to keep those bike running safely. If my owners manual calls for xyz brand conventional 10w30 grade sg or above that's what I am using.. and I am sure as HE double hockey sticks not going to put synthetic oil in a system that was designed for conventional oil...no matter how sweet a video someone put out about it. same with tires..Ride safe Y'all
