This speech that Meghan Markle "gives" to the UN is really one of the worst performances I have seen. There is a good bit of bragging mixed with being cliche and boring. There are some interesting patterns here - let me know what you all think.

Jeez, I say NO, let her continue to speak, because everytime that she does she messes up, everytime she opens her mouth she lies, she gets laughed at more, & more, & more, she is the best comedy ever, but because of her ego, & narcissism, she is the only one who can,t see it. The World is laughing at her, & long may it continue, everyone knows that she lies about everything, & she is stupid to think that anyone beleives her, let the comedy continue.

I'm fairly sure that she has to pay organizations to speak. At least now she probably does cuz it's all about the money & people have to know that she'll pay for it by now. If she'll pay for awards, she'll definitely pay to speak. She LOVES attention.

She always starts off with some ramblings about herself. Well Megan here is one for you. It is not about washing dishes either. It involves women and small girls worldwide. Their horrific pain and lifelong suffering! Ready Megan? It's called Female Genital Mutilation, something which your very dear friend Oprah knows all about. You class yourself as powerful and describe yourself as an activist and feminist, so get the 'bit' between your teeth, and start. Try to be recognised for something useful for a change. You can start with Nigeria where you say your ancestors come from.

Everything that comes out of markles mouth sounds rehearsed. Her voice is like nails down a chalkboard. Americans don't even use markles word salad vocabulary when they speak.that is the reason her speeches sound so fake is because they are fake.she in not authentic. Also if a person has to constantly tell you about their humanitarian efforts then they are not genuine humanitarians just an attention seeker and fraud. A real humanitarian doesn't brag about their humanitarian efforts or their good deeds. They do what they do from the goodness of their heart and in silence they don't need to brag & boast about their good deeds. They also dont exploit the less fortunate souls by doing photo opps to show the world how great they are or to tell the world look at me I'm a celebrity who helps the less fortunate souls that makes me a good person please give me the adoration and attention that i crave for my humanitarian efforts. Celebrities who have to show and tell their humanitarian deeds do it for their own selfish egos and use it as another way to pat each other on the backs for their own gratification and, to build up their portfolios to increase their fame, wealth and as a networking opportunity to meet and interact with the rich and powerful. Charities are one of the biggest scams of the 20th and 21st centuries. The ceo's get to pocket the bulk of the charity donations, while spending 10% of charity donations for the actual cause while they exploit the souls of those suffering in poverty and Celebrities use the opportunity to take photos with the most vulnerable for a pr stunt, to make headlines or as a career boost to their diminishing careers. The real heros are the volunteers who work endlessly behind the seasons and away from the spotlight and lens of cameras and who actually do all the hard work to get the aide to the poor and suffering .

The”big girl she is now” is a direct result of the care she didn’t receive as the little girl she was then. The poor childhood is absolutely everything that the the adult is and does. always has been, always will be since time immemorial. It must be quite a shock to you to know this.

Also, I totally agree that her statement about what two little boys in her class said is a lie, and how ludicrous it was to use such an opportunity to talk about dishwashing liquid. How many situations existed in the world at that time where women were terribly oppressed and abused, which she could have drawn attention to? I don't think she ever walks up to a podium looking focussed and serious, as if to say "We're here to deal with an important problem and we mean business!" It's always the 1000-watt smile, and an air of being wafted into the stratosphere by the love and admiration of the applauding crowd.

It's hard to fault a father (especially one raising his child as a single parent) for doing such a thing. Such things occur in many families, but the fact that she continued to relate the story, well into her adulthood and long after she no doubt knew what had actually happened, and to try to trade off it, is a measure of the seriousness of her pathological lying. Such stories usually relegate themselves to those that families tell around the dinner table at family events over the years and enjoy a good laugh over.

You're right about her not telling the story from memory of that moment. She's told this story so many times, it's automatic now. She may add bits here and there, but the story is always the same, she, by her 11 year old self, got the ad pulled from TV, and we should all thank her. The fact that her whole class participated, as did many across the country as well as adult women at the time may have more to do with that, will never enter her little brain. Her father got Nicklelodeon to come film in her classroom, and things have been spiralling out of control ever since.

When I was 14 years old I was an awkward, shy girl in school told to do a presentation about "a famous person" and I decided to do it about a person I had do this was Nelson Mandela. It was perhaps a year earlier I read the book "Biko" (that the later Cry Freedom movie would be based on and had to read it for another class assignment), and for me the experience of having to do the presentation was even more awkward because I was a person bullied and there I had to stand in front of the class mates who would bully me. Anyway, me doing this had an interesting "side effect" that came later, in the form of most of the kids stopping with the bullying, and a few befriending me. I had a standing ovation from the class after I had finished the presentation. Which in itself was unexpected, and led to a discussion in the class about "supporting the cause I had highlighted with my presentation." So in the next few days the effort was made to create a list of signatures to send to England, to 10 Downing Street so they'd be along with thousands of others. I can still remember the photo my mother found in one of the British broadsheet newspapers a few years later, in 1988, of the dozen or so stacks of paper that represented "a few years of signature collecting" as the caption had stated. Somewhere among them were the two or three dozen papers with the signatures of all school kids of my school, of the teachers, of many their family who also signed. I have not so good memories because of the bullying but I'm to this day grateful of how the kids decided, at least for a while until the bullying finally stopped, to be kind enough to participate in something I found so unexpected and profound. I began caring about human rights and adherence to this cause when I was 10, after sitting several hours in an elderly neighbour's living room who lived at the bottom floor of where I lived in Amsterdam. She was a holocaust survivor, and seeing the tattoo the length of her left lower arm (from wrist to elbow in length) made me decide that I wanted to care about human rights. I've never stopped speaking about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, demonstrating with its Articles and Clauses where I see a wrongdoing in society. As a 14 year old the cause was the freedom from false or political imprisonment; these days it's the right of self-determination of a woman's autonomy over her own body and choice of fertility pursuit. I've written to politicians, and will still do it now, without ever assuming I gain something personally from it other than being able to add it to my story of being a human rights observer and campaigner. Real heroes never ask for recognition I'd say; they earn such a right. That's something I learned from researching the story of Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela, as well as learning about other people in history (both past and current) people. I earned a right to tell about my involvement in getting Mr Mandela freed, which I celebrated as it happened in 1990, but I know I was like a drop in the ocean in my involvement in a greater story that only sees a conclusion once ALL human rights get adhered to by everyone. Until then every person who demands such adherence becomes another person to make the future better for the generations that come after us... Side note: our Dutch school ALSO wrote to Proctor & Gamble...for similar reasons. Another side note: I'm still awkward and shy about talking to crowds of people now... 🤣🤣🤣

You’re right. She had no problem lying in front of the world and has the audacity to insult the intelligence of everyone who were aware of the Truth about this school project. The good news is… More and more people are calling her b.s. Her father’s intention might be good but what we see now is someone who has narcissistic personality traits. According to mental health experts, narcissists have a deep sense of insecurity. That’s why they often have to use a public persona to cover up their feelings of insecurity. And we’ve seen her mask slip many times. She obviously isn’t showing any remorse or regret for the trail of destruction she’s done since she came into the public spotlight. Not even sure if she’s self-aware or reflect about the role she’s playing in the destruction of her relationships with her family, in-laws, friends, ex-staff, and others.😢 It would be great if her elementary, high school, college classmates will come out and speak out.
