Bowness beat Bednar when he was the Stars coach. He’s been around. Some say he’s a dinosaur but he is right - giving the Avs the power play is partly why the Jets are where they are

Man, if there’s one thing I can say it’s I wish they had split the workload more evenly between buck and brossoit. He’s a hell of a goalie, especially for a backup, and it’d maybe give buck enough space to breathe instead of trying to literally carry our team. I know it’s not bucks fault, he is THE goalie in the nhl, but maybe cut him some slack. Wish we could make changes that will have a more effective outcome, feels too little too late now, but it’s not over till it’s over, GO JETS GO!

Bones looks tired for sure. He’s taken us this far. But, if the Avs have changed their strategy against us, then what should we do? Will what got us here work with this faster more intense version of the Avs?

It doesn't look like the avs changed their strategy all that much. They just ramped up the intensity a whole bunch and the Jets just haven't done that

It’s so easy to blame the coach. But the reality is the players aren’t doing what the coaches are asking. And for 55 to say they have made adjustments and we haven’t is such a cop out and not taking individual responsibility. He is -6 in the last 3 games because he doesn’t commit to a 200 ft game. No adjustment will chance that, take some personal accountability for your poor play

Exactly. This is basically on 55 and 81 floating LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO. They are Matthews and Marner tier soft. You can't win with guys like this. They wont do what needs to be done.

The Jets were the best defensive team in the league! This isn't on Hellebuyuck. The team has been playing poorly in front of him. The in ability to get the puck out of the d-zone and the giveaways are killing the Jets; Offensive or defensive. Shut the Avs down. Block them up in the neutral zone. Challenge them harder in the d-zone instead of giving them space and backing off. Attack the puck and puck carrier. Build the offense off that. Simple enough?

Intensity is a poor thing to focus the mind on attaining because it cannot last long and comes and goes. The clearer that you can see your objective the less relevant intensity is. For example a baby can scream and holler an entire day, without losing intensity, but a teenager will run themselves out of energy in no time. The baby knows that this screaming is it's only life line, it's not going to over scream, it will find it's stride, but the kid has other means, so it's not his last hope. The key to staying mentally engaged is that what you are doing is your last hope... Everything that you are doing is with the hope of scoring a goal. And if the score is 20-0 everything that you are doing is to score another goal. Winning is not a focus, you cannot get winning, you have to get goals.
