Seems adding the cabinets before doing the walls and ceiling will sure make things hard for you. Removing the doors of the cabinets usually makes it safer and easier to hang them especially by yourself.

I understand what you’re saying, but the cabinets on the refrigerator wall went straight onto the shiplap and the back wall behind the washer and dryer is nothing but cabinets. I’ll just be putting painted luan plywood behind the appliances. The cabinet doors are not the best quality and I didn’t want to do too much and risk stripping out the screw holes for the hinges. But yeah definitely would’ve been easier without the doors on. 👍

BTW- I wish our winter storms would bring us new cabinets. Ours normally just bring us snow and ice. 😂🤣

Going to get over a foot tomorrow. Since you been on the mountain, what's the heaviest winter storm you have had to face? I don't think you were here in 2016 (or 15?) when we got blasted by that 3ft of snow in one storm. And that was in the valley, on the Blue Ridge, that would have been interesting. It should be very beautiful up there.

Yeah they keep bringing down the snow total and increasing the ice totals. We shall see. We haven’t gotten more that 10” in one storm yet. We were still in Woodbridge for the 2016 storm and remember it well, but that was about a foot total over there.

Watching from London and had to skip back to be certain you just called your house small. Is it the camera angles or a cultural devide? The average property size in England is 729 sq ft and your looks at least 8-900

Yes for our area it’s considered a small house. The current average house in Virginia is 1900 sq ft and the nationwide average is 2,300 sq ft. Ours is 1024 sq ft Thanks for watching!
