This video is about our winter water setup during freezing temperatures and camping adventures with family at Fort Worden State Park.
❄️ Subfreezing temperatures forced us to improvise on our winter water setup in the RV. We will show you how we manage the water situation in the RV while at our beautiful beach level, campsite, give you some winter camping ideas and share all the beautiful scenery while we explore Historic Fort Worden State Park.

Not been a lot different here. We took off on a camping trip with tent and it ended up like 30 degrees. We did call the morning pack up early but we stuck it out for the most part. Heck this weekend was hot and sticky and it was supposed to be mild 🙄. Weather it just unpredictable anymore if you ask me. Of course, with tent we don’t gotta worry about temps. But we don’t with our cargo build either. We built without tanks on purpose. We even re-built without tanks on purpose. We don’t want to deal with freezing or having to winterize. We want to camp all year. With not worrries of that freezing crap and tanks. You guys had a beautiful camping weekend. How awesome for it to be gifted to you by your kiddo. Love that. She obviously knows what you guys need and love. Good for her!!

Thanks so much! We had such a great time and it was even better that the kids joined us camping too - she's an awesome girl, we are so blessed to have two wonderful daughters! The weather has been so unpredictable, we went out SUV camping last weekend and roasted, it was so hot! 🥵 Went to SoCal in April and it poured rain, we got soaked at Disneyland. Oh well, the weather doesn't stop us...unless it's freezing rain...hate that stuff. Thanks for stopping by...have a fantastic week! -Jody

Hi guys this was so good that your daughter gifted you to stay at Fort Worden with so many family memories there :) it looks beautiful and so historic and the beach looked beautiful even though it was cold ! Great to get out for a camping adventure in February! Extra special to go with family. We really enjoyed a day we spent exploring at Fort Worden, but haven’t camped there- great to know it’s doable in the winter, if you can stay warm.
