Jack is featured in this clip from the 1989 Tom Boyle Bodyboarding film WINTER ON THE ROCK. This 2nd Edition of the Bodyboarder's Video Magazine highlights the EPIC HAWAII WINTER SURF SEASON of 1988-1989.
TOM BOYLE, The Pioneer Bodyboarder, Photographer and Filmmaker, was on fire when he created The Bodyboarders Video Magazine Series in the late 80s and 1990s. Winter on the Rock was produced in 1989 and is just the 2nd Edition, with many more to follow.

It was The Jackstance …..before Dropknee….great memories. Keith Sasaki too……yeahhhhhhh I may have had that on VHS tape…..Seamus Mercado…..Ben, Pat, Mike, Kainoa, JP, Danny, the list goes on and on…… I remember all of the old crew……. I know Mike is still ripping in 2023……amazing.

Absolutely brilliant. Great to have some quality footage of the originator of DK. It's a marvel how he did that with those boards. I struggle with modern ones! Inspiration.

Jack’s stance was more weight on the back of the board and less pressure on the front leg… Today’s stance allows for more speed and agility ✌️&❤
