I have no idea how I came to love watching this channel.....could it be his dry sense of humor, the beautiful scenery and photography, the relaxing music, or the crockpot. I look forward to each video.

You inspire so many people- I don't think you have any idea. What a great build on this van- you started with 'good bones' and more space than you know what to do with! I think it has to be your calm humility in the face of some pretty overwhelming tasks that makes your channel so great. Build a cabinet in a Home Depot parking lot and then- make a homemade cabbage stew! Install a dorm fridge and scale a midsize mountain in February... Not everyone can imagine, let alone accomplish those two tasks in a single day, make a semi gourmet dinner the same evening and call it a 'normal' day, Foresty. So- Good on ya! Keep us all inspired, keep at what you call puttering and Thank You from a simply awed and grateful viewer.

Stayed in Walmarts, casinos, rest stops and truck stops. I've been to over 245 casinos in 17 states. That's how I financed my wanderlust and search for adventure. During that time, I hit at least 61 jackpots. I have purchased my home with these proceeds. I lived the dream!

Diesel heater clicking noise: Don't screw it directly to a solid surface: build a small enclosure and suspend the pump from rubber bands. It helps if you line the enclosure with noise dampening material (cloth, foam, etc.) ... you can screw the enclosure to something else, but make the actual pump is free-"floating" to minimize noise. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work.

Instead of getting a backrest, make yourself a backrest cover. Put all your bedding items into the cover when you wake up and wanted to put them away to start your day. And there you go, pillow and blanket stored away and you get a backrest. can add a layer of thin padding on the front side to get comfier.
