This week of van life was spent in the desert with Elsa & Barron, experienced our first snow of the season in the van, kept warm with a mini wood stove, and spent quality time with amazing friends. Thanks for watching everyone ✨

Thank you, Linnea, for understanding people's hesitations or reservations with hunting and not being judgmental to those who don't live in that world. Appreciate learning more about a world I may never be part of without any condescension, but with open arms and the ability to learn something new. Thank you & Terry for the convo.

Fascinating to listen to Terry! He has a wealth of knowledge that he readily shares! I have no problem with a hunter that uses every usable part of an animal, meat, hide, bones whatever the animal has to offer. What I do have a problem with is the sport hunter who kills for a photo or the "experience". Wasteful! Disgraceful! But Terry honors the animal by using everything he can! Love this video!!! Thank you all!

I have a problem with people who get mad because they hit a deer but are against hunters. Like, duh everything that doesn't get culled can become a problem when your driving. Look at all the possums, raccoons and squirrels that get hit. Of course deer are gonna run out and your gonna hit them when there's so many.

I started watching Terry’s season of Alone recently, and my husband was surprised (I’m not generally into hunting or super outdoorsy). We watched this video and I told him, “It’s this-the respect, love, honor for nature and living more closely with it.” It’s fascinating listening to Terry talk! I’m so glad he’s writing a book! Love that y’all are hanging with Elsa & Barron too. So much goodness in one video!

The Native Americans (indigenous) believed in the sacredness of the hunt and sacrifice of the "Meat" as long as you praying for its soul to release and obvious Terry has a pure heart and understands the process. Great video and those sunsets in the beginning of the video were spectacular... Thank you Linnea

I have to admit I have never watched alone. But I could listen to Terry for hours. Everything he shared about harvesting mature animals is spot on, and how I was taught from my elders. I look forward to his book coming out. And as always, kudos to the funny bloomers at the end.

Wow! I really love your videos. Terry is a very interesting person and you giving him that space and appreciation to share (on your channel) is so cool. I love that you acknowledge the importance of listening to others, taking it all in, and respectfully sharing it with us. I've been a vegetarian the majority of my life and listening to Terry speak about all that he feels and seeks is so astounding. I 100% agree with him even though I am on a completely different dietary lifestyle. Mad respect. Great video. You rock!

Terry’s words were beautiful but adding your own video clips to accompany them was such an amazing way to bring his ideas to life. My heart ached to be in those beautiful, remote places experiencing the same things you both have. You are both so inspiring. We so deeply appreciate both Terry’s willingness to “ramble” as he said, and your amazing skills as a writer, editor, and videographer to capture and present it in such a moving way. Thank you so much for the work you do to share your little corner(s) of the world with us. Hope you had a great week :)

Amazing video per usual! But this was so educational and eye opening. It’s beautiful how much Terry knows and applies to his everyday life and about survival in the middle of nowhere. While I don’t have goals to go that far in my off grid adventures, it’s still beautiful to hear how someone lives in that environment. I’m sure there will be negative comments from people who can’t wrap their heads around it, but I honestly believe everything Terry said about hunting and living off the land and respecting it all is exactly how we were meant to live. Thanks so much for sharing this and please don’t let the negativity of a few stop you from continuing to share these types of videos and experiences. ❤

Wow! Linnea - I learned SO much from this film. I was sad when I saw Bambi (which jaded me about hunting throughout my life)...but I am always wanting to learn new things and this video was one of the best things I've learned about what and why Terry and other hunters like him lives [and hunts] as they do. I started watching your channel because of your approach to the love of nature - thanks for getting Terry to share about his hunting with us. Although I will never hunt for my own meat, I stopped eating it because of the way it is produced. I try to only eat food when I know where it comes from. Again - thanks for this special episode. Think I will seek out and watch Alone.
