This song touches me somewhere deep and makes me cry every time I listen to it. I can feel the pain of the lyrics and Jari's voice.

I love to hear what people take away from this song and it's always different. To me the atmosphere is definitely wintery, very cold, harsh, but not dark at all. It's like a bright winter afternoon as the snow reflects the sunlight so powerfully. This would be my all time favorite song if it wasn't for the song that became before it: Eternal Darkness (Autumn). Contrast to Loneliness, it's dark AF, fast an menacing. It's everything I have wanted from a metal song. Check it out especially if you like black metal. It's an incredibly intense listening experience.
