Found this fix by looking on the net, ordered the clip, came next day (wow fast!) watched the video and fitted this morning, working perfectly. I know these clips probably cost pennies to buy in bulk, but at a fiver a apiece together with the fitting video they can save hundreds of pounds. 'Ask The Mechanic' is showing the true entrepreneurship of this country and deserves to be congratulated. Well done mate.. now that's the kind of spirit that will make this country flourish outside of the European Union!!

Repair clip arrived today. Quick delivery, so thanks for that. Fitted to 02-05 Vectra this evening. Fiddly to get on due to cramped space where the wiper linkage is contained, but tip about removing fuse helped. Appears to be working a treat. Will test it out over the next few weeks. Thanks.

I've had one of these for many months now on my 2004 Fiat Punto (mk2 facelift) and it has kept the linkage together fine. I'd definitely recommend one of these.

Fitted on a 2003 fiat punto with difficulty due to lack of space without removing wiper unit but this video was necessary and so helpful, thank you!

Ordered this for my daughters Seat Arosa 2002 passanger side wiper broke, it arrived this morning which is fast delivery, was a very fiddly job getting it on as not a lot of space to work but after a bit of tinkering and a few choice words it was done!! seems to be a good job for a fiver well worth it only time will tell how long it lasts but it is a strong looking clip so don't expect any more problems with it. THANKS..

I have been keeping my Punto linkage together with string for months having been quoted more than £200 parts and labour by local garages and national repair companies as they said I would have to replace the whole wiper system there being no repairs available . I ordered the repair clip , it arrived in 2 days and I fitted it in 5 minutes !

Clip has worked for me so far. Tricky to put on - you might have to prise it open slightly first. But yes, does the job for a fiver.

Any chance this will work on a 2001 Corolla. I'm having real trouble trying to find a replacement, and the (apparently) compatible ones I managed to get hold of don't fit.

The Clip pops after a period of use.. Is there anyway to make the fix more permanent? Is there anything I can do to the clip to make it more sustainable? Normally lasts about 2-3 months with usage. I dont want it to go on the motor way or something.
