I came across this hobby/craft while looking for more uses for my tumbled pebbles. Wire wrapping is a relaxing and satisfying hobby in it's own right, but is even more so when you have collected and tumble polished the rocks yourself. In this example I followed the KZfaq video of a lady called Oxana. Her channel is Oxanacrafts and she is just brilliant. You can see I failed to make something as stunning as Oxana and did not keep to the design perfectly but bearing in mind this was just my second attempt at wire wrapping and I was doing this from memory at my beach hut I think I did not do too badly. I am sure this is something I will pick up frequently over the coming years, making bits and pieces of jewellery for family and friends. I am so pleased to have found this engrossing pastime so thank you Oxana!
