dont listen to ryan when it comes to the mens basketball team though. he is clueless & has no understanding of the fact that it doesnt matter how good someone can coach if they cant recruit & Gard has NEVER even kept an in state blue chipper from leaving the state since he has been here

As much I'm a huge fan of Jim Leonhard. No probably not in recruiting results.While the CB developed and had good ball skills and technique, the level of recruiting with this staff is better its like a 4 star CB? been there done that mentality with this staff.

8-4 and a Bowl win, considering the schedule and only being Fickell’s second full year, would be a good season.

Only thing I'll say about TVD is people were saying the exact same shit about Mertz prior to last season and dude ended up having his best season last year at Florida. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery

I agree and I think getting Griffin Jr was a game changer. Our starting three will be Green, Griffin Jr. and Pauling. If they throw out a fourth receiver, it'll either be Kekahuna or Burroughs.

8-9 wins is a legut take you're right it all depends on TvD if he's Heisman we're in the playoffs if he's good we're 7..8..9ish but starting next year Wis will start having QBs that have been in the system 2-3yrs before their 1st start

I can see you not wanting to get burnt again. My reasons for optimism-i think the defense will be better/faster. The OL will be better coached. The RB position is better and deeper. QB is a question-we just dont know. Im going with closer to 10-2 with a 9-3 record. Keep up the good work. Welcome back to Wisconsin

I see two possible scenarios for TVD. He could become a more disciplined and dangerous leader or an inconsistent weapon. He is not a game manager. If he is not the guy, the cupboard is not empty. My question is, can our defense win a game or 2? Good topic for a future.

If 2024 Badgers played the 2023 Badgers, 2024 will win 31-10. That's how much better we are this year.

We won’t know until the games get played. I think a lot depends on if Longo, the qb whisperer, earns his pay with TVD. Worse case scenario, we have a solid backup.

The QB questions are real. Didn't play that well last 2 years at Miami. Miami wasn't sorry to see Tyler go. I hope he resurrects his career

I don’t hate any Big Ten team. If they are in Bowl/playoff games I root for them in representing the Big Ten. Sure, it’s hard to root for Minnesota, but that’s only because of the rivalry. I don’t root for them to crash and burn over it though. Life is too short. Trust me on that one.

@@johnberger8817 No hate here. Well, I don’t Fleck. That’s certain. And I survived a couple/three decades plus of 55-0 or 63 to 7 type yearly drubbings by Michigan and OSU in the late sixties through the entire 80’s. But I still root for them over other conference teams in Bowl/playoff games.

@@mark8337 I have a friend who went to OSU, & the fans were horrible during the 1st half of the B1G CH game in 2014, then they just felt sorry for me. I want to shut them up. MIC are cheaters. I wanted them to get blown out in the playoffs. I hate cheaters. MIN is just a thing when you go to WIS. Gotta hate them, lol. Beating RUT, NW, IND feels like nothing to me except love to win games. Beating those 3 is redemption.

I think Rico could get around 4 INT's this year, but I don't expect him to get 7 or more. Most teams/QB's are too smart to keep throwing his way once they figure out there's a good chance it gets picked off.

We don't hate IOW. It's a sister school rival. Iowa waves to the children's hospital after the 1st qtr, no way to hate that. Would love to go to a Badgers game there.

Hitschler is the only true loss of the coaches/recruiters. Guiton, Blazek, Whitlow are all upgrades.

I said it was a 3-5 year rebuild from jumpstreet, this is year 2, VD will probably be average, they win 7 or 8, and next year starts the new QB for a few years era, when it starts to coalesce

I think 6-6 is way more likely than 10-2. I thought 6-6 was a very realistic outcome given the schedule. I don't mind Iowa. Their fans are tolerable and it is a like minded program
