8-4 sounds about right. 9-3 would be a great season in year two under Fickell.

We absolutely need Vinny Anthony to be able to stretch the field. TVD has the arm to get him deep balls. That opens things up for our dynamic duo slot receivers. This team will be much better but so will the competition. Go Badgers!

I understand the pressure on coaches, but I think we’re kind of jumping the gun here. Fick/Longo are overhauling a program/team that was a complete 180 from what they are trying to implement. Yes, they’ve got transfers and such. But you need time to get “yours guys” in house in Fick/Longo’s case. I understand the need to see results, but with the new landscape of CBF/conferences this year, I don’t see a need to freak if the improvements are minor. Just as long as you see steps in the right direction.

If you think start/bench/cut was difficult for you RB's, imagine trying to do the same thing for schools like LSU, Bama, Georgia, or Miami. As far as Bertrams goes, he did pretty good IMO considering he was essentially a freshman after he missed his entire freshman year to injury. He has a strong leg, but he's still figuring out how to be consistent. Bertrams is quite young for an Aussie punter considering Tory Taylor is 6 years older.

Jack Nelson is my pick on offense. His future depends on his play this year. On defense, my pick is Rico. He needs to prove last year wasn't an anomaly.

hey folks we have one of the toughest schedules in DIV-1 football this year. 8-4? Let's expect 6-6 and anything more is great gravy. What do you think is the strongest position group on defense? I thinks its the secondary. We have Hallman and Wohler returning so it's the secondary. Rajeev thinks it's the LB group. What do you all think.

8-4. Maybe 9-3 if things go good. I don’t know about players under pressure - maybe a couple receivers if drop balls. I love the HC, DC, and OC, so other than position coaches that I don’t know enough about, I think coaches are ok. I really don’t see a problem right now. Recruiting and portal is good.

For the start bench cut question are we putting all of the backs I modern day football? If so then my answer is this. Start Gordon (speed ability to catch out of the backfield) Bench JT Cut Dayne (ability to catch the ball and run routes out of the backfield hurts him in modern day college football)

HC is of course under pressure second year. Plus can't hitch your wagon to another QB who under performs again. So Tyler is under alot of pressure to play well too
