What a fun game, Koenig and Hayes are college basketball legends. Two of the biggest names in all of college hoops, those Badger seniors were on a mission, too bad a coast to coast full speed runner is what knocked them out. Allen was cold blooded this game, made extremely tough shots, simple as that.

Been a Wisconsin fan for 30 plus yrs....this is the most heartbreaking loss I have ever seen. The boys played there guts out!!! Be proud guys!!!! Always roll on Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!!!

Great game. Hard fought, thru and thru. Nothing at all to be ashamed of. As a Gator i'm happy, but i always feel a little bad about the heartbreak the other team/fans feels, but i guess it's all just a part of the madness that is march.

To all the Wisconsin fans saying the refs were against them: You have got to be kidding me. I can't count how many free throws Wisconsin got in OT and I also can't count how many were missed. Wisconsin had the refs on their side in OT. Florida still came through

Not to mention, on Florida's desperation heave at the end of regulation, Devin Robinson was clearly interfered with as he went up to try to receive the pass. Wisconsin also shot 14 free throws in OT. Make your free throws and you don't have to complain about the refs. The Gators deserved to win this game.

It's crazy, I was getting tired of watching all those free throws, if anything it seemed like the refs were against florida. Wisconsin put more away than I thought considering they're basically the worst at free throws lol

From a persons point of view who was not rooting for Wisconsin or Florida, it seemed as though the refs favored Florida more. They called many of the dramatic flops Florida put out. However, the game was decided in countless Wisconsin missed free throws. Simple as that.

Wisconsin actually shot more free throws than Florida, and 14 of them were in OT. I think that's the bottom line. The game was played too well by both teams to try to put the blame on the refs. Like you said, Wisconsin missed so many, especially in OT. They only have themselves (and a miracle shot by Chiozza) to blame for the loss.

This Wisconsin team has taken more gut-punches in the NCAA tournament than any team I can think of over a 4-year period. Two Final Fours and two Sweet 16s, lost by 1, 5, 5, and 1 with all the games decided in the final seconds. Their 13-4 record in the tournament over that time is fantastic but those 4 losses all came in the worst possible manner.

2014 - Kentucky Final 4 (gave up game winning 3 in the final seconds) 2015 - Duke Championship Game (championship game loss) 2016 - Notre Dame Sweet 16 (blew 3 point lead in the final 30 seconds) 2017 - Florida Sweet 16 (lost on 3 pointer at the buzzer) 4 years in a row with gut wrenching heartbreaking tournament elimination It kinda feels like their window to win a natty has closed looking at how things have gone since.

Wisconsin threw this game away... after they got to OT... some very lazy plays on Wisonsin part.. esp on the break away layup.. bring it back out or pump fake.. then the last run up the court.. the tall dude avoided him like he was at half court.. dude was already at the 3 point line, how do you pull back and hold up your hands..

I guess you're making up your own conversation.. I just said after OT.. normally when a team comes back from 9 like you said and steals momentum.. it transitions into over time.. the game should have been over after the comeback.. cause they moved that momentum.. but lazy plays cost them a win.. the way wisconsin came back wasnt bad plays by Florida.. it was great plays by wisconsin.

And my only final four team left moves on. The other three all into this week like Florida alive but UCLA (champions) , Arizona (runner up's) and Michigan all lost. Florida is my last chance at getting a final four right
