hi guys! here's my final project video for #TheStripeyChallenge! there might be another coming with some talk on how I made the dress. it's of course imperfect - the back closure is not amazing, the hat turned out too big, and the bodice is slighly higher than the original. alas, it was made with love

Seeing the dress vs the picture is giving me a shock. I thought "oh, what a weird looking dress, boring, why would anyone want to wear this" but seeing it in motion it is actually breath taking. The lines on the photo made it look so stiff and structured but on video the lines turn into waves and shapes, it is gorgeous! Amazing work. I definitely have relearned my lesson of not judging a book by its cover or rather judging a dress by an image. Also amazing filmography

There is so much interwoven in this video! Each aspect - historic basis, storyline, cinematography, narration, acting & costume were absolutely captivating. I'm not always fond of anachronistic drama setting vs soundtrack music selection, but your choice gave me an emotionally viceral reaction. Brava!
