For someone who basically grew up in the biz as a child star she's really down to earth AND she seems like one of the good child stars you never have to worry about going off the rails.

I love the parallels between her and her sister's interviews, they both said they cried during Marley and Me and that they wanted a locker, they're so similar and both really lovely.

Really, when you get right down to it, it doesn't matter what one looks like when they are that uber talented....IE Merryll Streep. I'm not saying she's Merryll yet but I could see that someday. This kid has really got it.

shes so amazing. im proud to say ive been a fan of hers since she was 8. im only 2 months older than her so it feels like ive grown up along with her. she really has turned out to be a beautiful girl. i will always be a fan of her.

I was first introduced to Dakota when I got the cat in the hat on DVD. And for a while I actually had a crush on her 😶. About a year ago or so I watched it again and I became interested in her as a person. Around that time I was really starting to follow actors and actresses my big thing was Dove cameron for a while too. But back to Dakota I can't say enough about her. She is a wonderful woman who has always been such a role model to people in my generation and all over the world. She also sparked my interest in directing. Like I said wonderful woman who has always kept a good head on her shoulders.

That's awesome that she is able to experience some teenage normality in the sense of going to high school and is as down to earth to know how important psychologically that is for a young actor. It probably keeps her humble, too.

I was home educated, had two yearbooks annually, prom, formals, orchestra, fencing, dissections, sports, dancing, youth group, teen group, honor society, service and civics clubs, science and astronomy club, I competed in international science competitions, in debate...the list goes on and on. Dakota wasn't "homeschooled." She was tutored by someone to accommodate her acting schedule. Home educated students have just as normal a life as anyone else, and more opportunities. Just to clarify.:)

Don't understand why people don't like her. She might have been a little precocious when she was younger, that was because she was a talented young kid and she was one of the first real young actresses. Now she's obviously still very talented and smart, but she's also charismatic and she's grown up. And she rocks.
