You are welcome in Jamaica. I moved back to Jamaica from the USA and I can tell you that Jamaica is a lot nicer when you are living here than when you are visiting. Please keep in mind that Jamaica is very hot when you are at sea level but there are places that are high enough above sea level where it is cool. So consider those areas when you are choosing a place to live. Plus the areas away from the tourist towns are less expensive to live.

Thanks for sharing this sermon, loved it!😊. My sermon to you today and to all those that are reading this, it is that you must be born again…. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Love you all!♥️♥️🇯🇲

Wode Maya, this is a good vlog, however, research some of the things you are told by some of these persons who are informing you based on their limited interaction and perspective. Jamaica has a huge black business class. They tend not to be in supermarkets and gift/jewelry stores like the Chinese and Indians but in other types of businesses, such as pharmacies, auto parts stories, manufacturing companies, investment companies and food, etc. if we were to leave this man’s statement unchallenged, people would think blacks are not in business in Jamaica. This is so far from the truth.
@travismiller89
@travismiller89 Ай бұрын
I remember going to university and having a paper assigned where Thomas Sowell (leading black conservative thinker in the US) claimed that Chinese people owned half the businesses on the island -- something I found comical. If you count every bar, every small food shop inside of schemes and communities, Chinese do not even own 5% of all on the island. That statement was made to make blacks seem non-business minded and having a ghetto mindset where they are stuck. But the statement and what he considered businesses were clearly flawed. Every higgler is in a way running their own business. Chinese just come from the manufacturing homeland of the world where the logistics and pipelines already exist for them to buy goods from China and sell back in Jamaica. This is why they own wholesales-- because they come from sweat shop communities. Their prominence in Jamaicas business space is as unimpressive as it is in Africa in reality

So true about the guide. He is to be commended for taking time to avail himself of important historical information about his country.He might have also learned this in school and committed it to memory. He has also appeared in vlogs done by others and has always been eager and proud to share the information he has acquired, It would be good if the Jamaica Tourist Board or other relevant body could reach out to him, provide him with the necessary training and employ him as a visitor guide. In fact, in a few previous comments, I made the suggestion that the visitor guide programme should be reintroduced with its scope broadened to provide bits of information about the history and culture of Jamaica broadly and/or specific to the place being visited.This would come with an accompanying brochure The reintroduction of the visitor guide programme could provide another avenue of employment, especially for young school leavers

Jamaica land of wood and water, land we love our National Anthem were written with God in the center also our national pledge God is in the center of our land. God cannot for get the prayers of his people calling upon him for the help that we need. We continue to pray for the governments of which ever party they belong. God knows there hearts, they may listen to out side influences but it will not work. We are covered under the precious Blood of Jesus christ no one can change this, Our land is in the middle of the sea our fourfathers were taken from Africa but most of us were brought up ad God fearing not to be afraid of God, but to love him God , trust in him keep his commandment love our brother and sisters. Many have turn away from this path giving heed to seducing spirit and doctrines of the devil. But God is still in charge no one can stop him.God. He will do what is best for us all. We all are covered through out this world, he knows all by name , we cant LIES to God, not many believe God knows us better than we knows our selves. Let's remember to seek him daily , God said he will direct our path. Amen Amen.

Jamaica is just the best Period. Beautiful place. Crime everywhere. That’s the narrative they use to prevent tourists from coming. But with all the negative headline Jamaican tourism is still the number 1.Jamaica won the 3 last world leading awards in tourism. People it wasn’t Dubai , Hawaii,Paris, you can name the top tourist destination Jamaica tops them all.

That old lady pissed me the hell off! To be quoting Nollywood movie plots is ignorance. Wode tells you that it is just a movie, and you still refuse to tek telling. She is not willing to learn & accept truth.
