Your videos have inspired me to create a new, "quick and simple" egg fried rice, with frozen peas and carrots, prepped diced onion, and prepped sliced mushrooms. The protein from the egg and mushrooms satisfies my desire for meat, and I can save money and time because it's so easy to make. Personally, I like to put the peas and carrots in first, and steam them in the melting ice until they're lightly charred, which I find makes the final dish sweeter, and keeps the texture of the peas from becoming too soft.

Make Mr. Tak's cashew chicken. You will go (literally) nuts. SO very good. The orange chicken with pineapple and bell pepper is superb as well.

Thanks for your great videos. You said that you first prepare the rice and put it in the fridge for 48 hours. When preparing it, do you fry the rice kernels a bit before adding the water? Also, when putting it in the fridge do you cover it? Thanks again.

after the eggs, when I add rice, the rice will stick to stainless steel wok and create a layer of mushy grains, lessened rice! i think its because the temperature has dropped. How can I prevent that pls?

I char some of the ingredients with a kitchen torch and searzall but this is probably easier

I have a kitchen torch as well and use it occasionally. My wife is uncomfortable with it and afraid that I am going to set the kitchen on fire. She is probably right with my lack of coordination and trying to do several things at the same time, a formula for disaster. Of course, the kitchen torch can definitely do the trick as well.

I love fried rice but I don't like sugar. Please do another video about fried rice using only organic ingredients.

Thank you for asking! Other than getting old with the usual aches and pains, I am doing well. I will be 72 in less than 2 weeks, and I am glad that I am able to post videos helping people to add value to their home cooking. I will keep going until I can't one of these days. Thank you!
