Kushal needs to understand, just because he got a YT channel, the world isn't driven by "right to free-speech" alone, there are lot many and arguably more important issues, like "right to life" which comes under serious threat from every fake news that's spread on social media. Regarding his friend who explained him how INDn govt's demand of origin tracing would mean giving up end-to-end encryption for all users by whatsapp, I'm really interested to know that if whatsapp actually encrypts what I type in then and there, which can be decrypted only at the destination, what data does whatsapp share with FB? and most importantly, how? If whatsapp insists that it still honestly follows end-to-end encryption then it only means that FB can decrypt all chats at it's end. If I chat on whatsapp, FB isn't looking for my name, age etc. I mean it looks at it but what's it really after is my behavioural data. It's a completely fallacious argument that origin tracing would lead to giving up end-to-end encryption. The only thing needed is some more research and/or innovation and if whatsapp wants this market, it should be happily doing it. Technology is amazing but it's not as chaotic as some portray it to be. Anybody who is even remotely aware about how the WWW works can immediately spot the hypocrisy of the argument. Whatsapp might have other issues that it's resisting the compliance but technology barrier isn't one of those, or at least it isn't a barrier that can't be breached.
