100% ! Gyokeres has quietly become an amazing striker. He can link play, hold up the ball, his channel running is levels! And when he sees a chance of a goal…he’s got nothing else on his mind but burying the ball. I really like him.

No fucken way, he: - doesn't have overly impressive numbers as it stands - those numbers are inflated by penalties - has had only a small showing of quality thus far - from the goals he's scored, many were ultimately unimportant to the game and weren't "game changers" (he didn't break a deadlock or bring them back to draw level... more often scored when they were beaten or were well ahead) - isn't a great facilitator but the trade-off is normally that they're lethal finishers... which he isn't - has the fabled English player in the premier league tax meaning he'll cost more than he's worth - not really young, so his ceiling is likely close to what it is and will have little to no resale value To sum up, he's not worth what he's gonna cost and isn't likely to be the missing piece of our puzzle, he'd be a decent signing for cheap but at the likely exorbitant fee being expected... HARD PASS

But Martinelli is struggling, I love the lad but let's call a horse a horse. It doesn't even matter if Havertz is playing or anyone else next to him, he's still struggling. My problem with him is that he never wants to cut in with the ball at his feet. He only wants to interchange. The number of times we've seen him have the chance to cut in with the ball but he decides to stay wide on the touchline and just try to run and cross. And even when our number 8 comes close to him he still decides to hold unto the ball too long that the opposition can settle and mark the option so then he has to try and dribble and he hasn't been any good at that lately. That's his decision making that isn't a system issue (even though I think we have those). Because you can't keep making excuses that he's too wide, because so many times he has the opportunity to cut in with the ball and doesn't and you can't say he doesn't have the options because against West Ham, we played Trossard who can combine with him more and he still struggled and still made bad decisions of ball hogging instead of moving the ball quicker and making a run. If we criticise Odegaard, Havertz, Zinchenko, Jesus and White when they've been out of form I don't see why we should do any different to Martinelli.

Martinelli is the same. Just as all the alArsenal players. The system Arsenal is employing this season while trying to "control" games is the problem. Too slow and predictable. Makes it easy to plan against. Fans who understand football should not hate the same players that were close to winning the league last season. System issue

Bro, martinelli has been coached to stay wide. That’s why he hardly cuts in. I’ve heard on more than one occasion arteta telling trossard to stay wide in order to widen the pitch We need someone who can make the line breaking passes that partey often does from deep.

I did think the same but on second thought I realised that football teams tend to have players who don't play for their teams for 6 months or more due to injuries but on recovery they still get slotted back in the team. As long as Tony has been practicing and keeping fit, I think he will be a good addition but I have seen better strikers out there

I want to see some goals from prolific strikers and you want to see this creative strikers.. Last season this works because midfielders scored a lot.. This season both our midfield and strikers don't score much.. Honestly i can't believe the amount of chances Arsenal had created and missed.. We have players who are creative enough to create a lot of chances.. We need someone who can finish off those chances.. We can't waste chances especially in big games~
