While Franklin's Wolves were on their circuit for approximately 10-days, Franklin took things into his own hands & scaled a couple hundred meters above sea-level, following a major Wolf trail that lead him to a vast area of beds.
These beds were clearly being utilized by the pack of Wolves after they filled their bellies with meat & would then lay down in the all-day sun as they had an afternoon "cat-nap".
Join us as Franklin is excitedly showing his finds to me during my last venture to his baiting sight areas.

Most people don't get the opportunity to see the coolest things during winter in the bush. Great video. God bless and be safe

Just huge veins of trails, it does not do justice in the video.

Fun times! I spend many days in the snowy forests in Michigan's Upper Peninsula hunting coyote and bobcats. Keep the videos coming!

Pretty amazing how they have figured out travels routes that give them the advantage eh . Gain elevation , less dense cover to watch Thier back trail . Spots to rest and hold up . All in a couple mile loop . Animals don’t get enough credit . If you know you know .

Amen to that. And to think its all instinctual now, although the older adult Wolves do teach the pups everything as they grow but just imagine the stuff they've have caught onto over the hundreds of years. I'm positive humans learned to push islands for Moose & Deer because thats what the Wolves do. Mimic Mother Nature's most apex predator of the north & you'll have success.

Beautiful place for some Wolf Snares. Can you use Snares in Ontario? I follow Montana Wolf Trapper also. 🐺

You can yup, just need your trappers licence. Most definitely hard work just like sitting over a bait is. I'll be getting my licence next winter, as this winter has just been horrid. It was +4 today.. Barely any snow left. Spring in February.

How many Wolf 🐺 tags are you allowed?
@PatterningNature
@PatterningNature 6 ай бұрын
Two Wolf/Coyote tags per year. Between December 31 & January 1st you could fill 4 tags if one had that much success of course.
