Volunteer wildlife carers Stephanie Clark and Wayne White received a 100gm wombat joey after his mother was killed by a car. 5 months later, little "Tunna" is thriving.

Such terrific people. That little guy is so adorable. He runs around them like a little dog. It would be hard to give him up, I think.

A wonderful story about people doing the right thing for a precious, defenseless animal. I really thank you and hope you can continue your work for a very long time. There are always so many animals that need our help. These wombats are so adorable, it must be difficult to release then back to the wild.

Aaaaaw, THANK YOU so much for saving animal lives. It makes me cry to think of all the poor creatures who lose their lives or are orphaned because of people. This baby is soooooo precious and sweet, I'm overwhelmed. You are ANGELS

I could not release him either. I wonder whether there comes a time when releasing a rescued animal is not safe at all any more for the animal because of urbanization, urban sprawl, hunters, cars, etc. Same in regards to the ocean with all the commercial fishing boats.
