@@HandlewasNoThey literally plead guilty in 2004 to criminal price fixing of diamonds. They still control about 40% of the industry but my point stands. There’s no shortage of supply. Basic economics: decreased supply, increased demand = higher prices. If that metric held true for diamonds, the price would drop a lot. Rubies, saddlers, emeralds, etc - those are rare and worth money. I literally work all over the world - 40+ countries a year. I’m a lot of things but uninformed isn’t one of them.

In the high end market it's not real. High end diamonds ~ big,clean,beautiful colored rare diamonds such as red,pink,blue,purple,orange,vivid yellow, green ... are very rare. Low end diamonds, below K color with lots of inclusions of course you get a lot ,that's why they're cheap.

Yup, meanwhile Kohl’s JCpenny macys and millions of others sell diamonds. Yup they’re Soooo rare! Sure thing JEWS! I live in a Russian Jew neighborhood in Queens where most of these people live. Almost none of them or their wives wear these lavish diamonds and maybe a simple Rolex but that’s all.

You cannot go into negotiations without a firm stop. Her open was 10500, she should’ve had a hard stop at 10k as it took her time and effort to acquire the piece and needs to make a profit. She isn’t a true negotiator she’s too soft. He would have paid the 10k if he wanted it. She got got on that deal. He basically robbed her.

If you resell watches , jewelry , cars, clothes , sneakers , electronics you don’t pay taxes , the customer does ! You file for a resellers tax certificate which is tax exempt ! I walk into Microsoft, Apple, Kohls, Best Buy, BJs , etc and I don’t pay taxes, Black Friday everyone hates me because I walk in point at 2 employees and say I need your help and walk around & I buy entire displays Apple tablets, iPhones, ring doorbell systems, Amazon fire sticks , smart watches , fitbits , Xbox & PlayStations , I get brought to the front of the line and I’ll spend $100-200K in each store and I don’t pay a dollar in taxes! BECAUSE IM A CERTIFIED RESELLER WITH THE IRS ! Just like AMAZON dropshipping , used car lots, sneaker resellers . We don’t pay sales taxes, because we sell to the customer . The customer is who pays for sales tax. But we all pay income tax ! Please educate yourself in business and in life 😂

Maybe I misinterpreted it but you have no clue how many people always write “Oh they’re selling each other watches and they didn’t pay tax , when it’s dealer to dealer , which means there’s no tax involved 🤦🏻‍♂️” All you wrote was “they don pay taxes” You didn’t write = they lie about their profits to avoid taxes , or are selling to a retail client and didn’t charge/ collect taxes. So when we see 2 wholesalers selling each other a watch for a cut and dry amount and you see “they don’t pay taxes” that looks as if you’re not familiar with wholesale / reseller purchases ! Also I went to college at 14 and have a 162 IQ , so if I educated myself anymore my head would explode 🤯 😂

I don’t always believe in cancel culture, but The administrator in the blue dress should be fired. Her attitude was completely unprofessional. I don’t know what happened with the original teacher that the parent confronted, so I won’t speak on that, but to say to any parent "you don’t want none a dis" is not my idea of professionalism and she CLEARLY knows NOTHING about conflict management, I shudder for those students, who I know many will say they are no angels, and I’d be sometimes inclined to agree on occasion, but the adult is the one that is trained to the gills and the kids are not and to have such a nasty attitude towards this woman to not even give her name, she and the school should be ashamed of that representation.

It’s a glamorous business. I believe Jewls when she says it’s a drug. You’re in the jewelry Mecca of the world. You’re dealing with high end items and clients everyday. Though their margins are small, $500 on a $10k deal, you need only sell 3 or 4 of those a day to be raking in serious money

IDK, Diamond shops are the few stores that when they get attacked in a smash and grab robbery I don't feel sorry for them.

I worked in diamond district for a few years on 47th Street. They wouldn't get too far because there are a lot of security guards with guns police stay parked on the block.
