The things taken for granted,with no thoughts about the man years,it took to develop and perfect that equipment! And if that equipment is running 24/7, the sheer stamina,of both the people and the machinery is something to behold! Just imagine the regular inspections,and maintenance that has to be done! Food processing has to be extremely precise,as peoples health depends on it! Remember those FDA,and USDA recalls on vegetables and salads with E-coli?? Thank you for the information,as the public does take too much for granted! Thank you 😇 😊!

I often wondered what happens to the leftovers. They could make stewed tomatoes with the leftovers. Of tomato paste. There are so many different ways to make all of the tomato sauces and soups. I believe all of the tomatoes can be made into something else. Have they ever given it a try. 😀👍

A long time ago, a bunch took our boats from Ohio to Leamington, Ontario, the tomato capital of Canada and went over to the Heintz plant watch them unload the tomatoes. The group left and a fellow asked if I might like to go in watch the processing. He garbed me up and I got to watch the processing of the tomatoes. I have to tell you that was some experience. It was 35 years ago, so I guess I was very lucky for that experience. Great video!

Я когда пошёл на хлебзавод работать, тоже сразу побежал на склад смотреть, чем же нас травят. Я же как вы думал, что это секрет. На самом деле, стоит мука высшего сорта, стоит глютен пищевой, витамин С, и всякие эмульгаторы. Эмульгаторы ешки они вредны, но их не скрывают, стоит эмульгатор е852 условно, его и указывают. Правительство разрешает!!! Нельзя скрывать то, что ты добавляешь в состав, потому что прийдёт Роспотребнадзор и в лаборатории проверит и выявит там например е600, а он не указан, тебе дадут штраф 100 миллионов к примеру за обман. Всё пишут на упаковке, вопрос в том, какого чёр та правительство разрешает некоторые вредные консерванты?

Возьмите хайнц кетчуп и там написаны все консерванты. Потом посмотрите в интернете по каждому, не опасны ли они. Явно опасные не разрешают, но разрешают такие, которые вызывают незначительное ухудшение здоровья. Если там прям очень ядовито будет, то люди будут умирать и кто же будет обслуживать богатых?

WOW... that's a lot of equipment and conveyors that need to be cleaned and sanitized every day. Saw a few green tomatoes on lines, but eventually removed by hand. Next time I put ketchup on my hamburger or fries, will look back at the process. Very impressive.
