@@lifederenglish 1:20 " these funerary monuments built to house the remains of pharaohs" Were the pyramids built as burial places for the pharaohs?
@Henry.n.Oguejiofor24710 ай бұрын
@MR-ub6sq, Yes, I learnt that the pyramids, each was built, as a burial place for different Pharaohs, who ruled over Egypt, at different period of times.
@MR-ub6sq10 ай бұрын
Some say it's not like that. On the other hand - what does it matter if they were grave sites or not. There are much more significant flaws in the history of Egypt, such as the 150...200 year error related to the departure of the people of Israel - the slaves of the Egyptian pharaoh. It is a time that the guardians of Egyptian history try to hide as closely as possible. After all, it is rather embarrassing that the pharaoh, who was considered a god, and his army enter his destruction while chasing the millions of people who were their slaves to build cities for the pharaoh.

Interesting collection, but I’m astonished there was no structure introduced from ancient Persia with over 2500 years of history and a lot of historical monuments and structures. May be you should’ve researched more.
@PARSIDOKHT8 күн бұрын
Thank you. I am so disappointed that as usual, they tend to overlook the rich history and culture of ancient Persia. Although to be fair, No 89 was Bam in Iran but a shame there was no mention of the old Persepolis. There are many historical architectural marvels located in Iran that could’ve been added here 😢

@@juarezderrick9647 Her point, with which I agree, is not that they forgot, but that Mesa Verde deserved to be included, and they perhaps exercised inattentive judgement. Yeah, obviously the list could be endless, but curation is an important responsibility.
