This is it. As as computer dude, I have been looking for different things to do to get away from any computing stuff. I have ordered the kit and now watching different videos. I have plenty of ideas that I going to apply. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful and easy to watch/learn. Thumbs up.

A quick tip, if you can't get/can't afford the graphite paper, you can cover the back side of the paper with the image with a pencil, then flip the page over and trace it

I'm sure I have the same took as you but mine doesn't burn that well. I lightly press but I have it all the way up and it takes several passes to get it that dark. If I press hard the grain of the wood wants to take the iron off in another direction so I make sure to press but I see you work smoothly through with light pressure and still get dark lines. Why the difference?
@toxicbutterfly02
@toxicbutterfly02 8 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's the type of wood. I was practicing on a harder wood tonight and it was doing what you're talking about, where the tool got caught on the grain. I think a softer wood will make the tool flow easier.

I don't recommend the tip she uses. I've used that exact same one, and it can't seem to get hot enough. Even a few experts at a wood burning store near me told me that. So I spent about 100$ on a good wood burner, and about 100$ in tips. Trust me, it's way better.
