Absolutely love this idea. I'm planning on taking the same approach as you with having initial cuts done at the store. How did you have the plywood cut at the store? (Dimensions wise that is.) Thanks for the help!!
@AngelaMarieMade
@AngelaMarieMade 3 жыл бұрын
That is awesome to hear! I usually draw a diagram out with the dimensions to visualize how the cuts need to be made and it also greatly helps the person who ends up cutting. You can find a full cut list on my blog post.

I agree! My mother went to Home Depot and she had all her measurements wrote down and they cut it for her with no problem. They have a station to do so. I was thinking the same thing because I do not have some of the equipment she used in her video. BTW how did it turn out?@@philippasco7184

Great video! I’m having a hard time finding 3x3 at my local hardware store. It doesn’t seem to be very common in Canada.

That's frustrating, you could glue some pieces of wood together and sand down really well to create the same dimensions of 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Great looking box....We would like to make it somewhat bigger by 3 inches all-round. Would it be feasible to increase the all of the dimensions of the lumber cuts by 3"? Would this work? Thanks much Angela.

Great video! Just subscribed and I think I'm going to go e this build a stab. I see the great cut list you gave on your blog, however what cuts did you have the home store make on the 4x8 plywood? Did you have them make a couple, then you did the rest at your shop? I will need to have them cut it down to make it more manageable, but I'm sure they won't be interested in making all of the cuts. Thanks again!
@AngelaMarieMade
@AngelaMarieMade 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. We had them rip cut the board in half at the 24" mark but you could also have them cut it in half at the 48" mark depending on how to fit it into your vehicle. We then made the rest of the cuts at home.

Hey there! Great video and thanks for the plans I bought them the other day and the toybox looks great. Unfortunately the hardest part is figuring out those door hinges that you recommend. I didn't see it in the plans or the video and now that it's assembled it asks that we weigh the door? Just wondering what settings you used in any tips on installing it?

Hi, I have a few questions.. 1. What’s the total storage area (cubic ft)? 2. How much time would expect this take an armature to make (hrs)? 3. Would I find all necessary tools and wood cuts on your blog? 4 where can I find your blog?

so if I didn't know any better it sure looks to me like the corner posts 3.5" square and not 2.5" as your plan calls for. Look at the 1:42 mark. If that is the case, then the stringers would have to be 1" shorter. Can you confirm?
