PS: anyone jumping into wooden model sailing ships deserves credit for tackling a difficulty project. Most kit instructions assume that you already know the process of working wood into a sailing ship model. You will learn lots, and if you build another one, it will be at least twice as good as the first. Most people don't have the patience for making these sorts of models. My first one, the French man of war La Couronne, took 2 years and 8 months to complete, and that was working at a solid, steady pace.

Yes the instructions are very simple and don't help anyone that don't know ships all to well, as you may see, I do have a new ship that I will start, I spent about $90 Can. to get it and had to because of a cat lol Thanks for watching

First time follower, if you still haven't got enough clamps, use cloths pegs, you must have finished this boat, are you doing another one,
@BluestreekCustoms
@BluestreekCustoms 3 жыл бұрын
Ty for joining me, great to have you, yes I do have cloths pegs and many more clamps now, and not this ship has sailed to Davy Jones's locker, I had a 4 year old nephew come in one day when I wasn't home and he thought it was a toy, lol needless to say, that ship didn't sail. I am planning on getting another one soon.

Ok cool ty, I was pretty upset but I can't stay mad, but I will get to doing another one, as you can see I have lots on the go, I'm thinking of doing a Titanic build, A 1/350 with all the photo etch I can get for it or the battle ship.

I'm 6 months into building a highly modified DeAgostini HMS Sovereign of the Seas also, debating whether or not to 3-D print or wood carve the decorations.

Ty very much, I'm hoping to get back at it soon, it was to hard to work on it in my other room, but now that I'm almost done building my new room, I have a lot more space to do things and will be able to bring out some of my unfinished projects and get back to them. sorry to keep you waiting for next video, but they are coming.

Sorry there isn't one, I wasn't able to finish it because the cat got to it and chew most of it apart, That's why I'm building the bigger ships now. Sorry David, I hope one day I will get another one and redo it.

Ty for the info, Unfortunately I can't finish this ship dew to my cat, I was lazy one night and left it out and the cat chewed most of the wood and ship, I don't remember if I say in this video or in the unboxing of my HMS Victory video, That's why I got the HMS Victory, I will do the Victory instead of this wood ship

@@BluestreekCustoms ugh, that accident brings to mind the movie The Holy Grail. When Arthur rides in to town, one of the extras is swinging a cat around.

So, either your nephew or your cat damaged your ship. That’s too bad given all the work you did and didn’t do. I’ve watched your Victory build and since I can only find the first video I’m assuming it got damaged as well somehow and you’ve moved on to something else. Oh well...

The arms of the anchor should be perpendicular to the blades rather than in line with them. Nice job apart from that though.
