This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to the finishing of the mobile bar and tear drop camper and then you moving them both to the new property so we can watch you build another sweet cabin on the new property. I can see the mobile bar also serving as a mobile kitchen with a canopy extension during the next build.

First, congrats on 100k+ subs! It’s great to see the space inside filled! It’s so cozy and welcoming. And you did my favorite theater set trick with the outside firewood…..if you don’t want to see it, cover it with something that looks good, and they’ll never know what it looks like behind. Just lovely, beautiful, fantastic! I can't think of all the things I want to tell you I love, I love it all...if this had a kitchen (does it?) And a bath I would live in there happily forever...i especially love the dogs, nice job guys, really enjoyed watching the hard work, blood sweat and tears going into this beautiful cabin. I'd be worried about termites with that wood around it. Termites LOVE cedar too. When we had a preventative system of 8n ground pods around the house with bait stations they put cedar in them. Virginia(Hampton Roads) is heavy on the termites.

Adirondack chair. And hey just a thought to keep the dirt from splashing up along the bottom of the cabin after rain. Lowes has some great pond rocks, 3.50 a bag. Just finished up an area off my deck with it. Looks great once you wash em off! Love the work as always, best channel out there.

I really don’t like people commenting on safety or telling people what to do but Im gonna do it anyway because that’s such a bad ass little cabin and I’m gonna subscribe. I would keep your firewood in a firewood shelter away from the cabin. You get all kinds of insects that will eat your cabin that live in the firewood.

Firewood looks good as a filler under the cabin but I think untreated lumber attracts termites.

I live in south, about an hour north of the gulf of Mexico. I'm not sure how it is up there but here you would get termites from that wood touching the cabin. They would turn it into dust in a few years.

OMG, I just figured out why I love your channel, you are a duplicate of my grandson. He loves making things only he makes off road vehicles, motored bikes, anything metal and having to do with welding. He even resembles you in appearance and stature and most definitely has your sense of humor. Wish you two could meet, you two would be dangerous together 😃. I suggest that u place some charcoal under your cabin to dry out n prevents odour.Some flower pots. will enhaunce the beauty of the setting.The. interior looks comfy,homely n great.

hey, this looks really good for what it took you to finish it! I'm wondering from your perspective would you see it possible to build twice as big and make it possible to live for a couple and a baby? I really like the idea of the cabin and it makes having the nature even closer than what most urban places allow you to be. Again, great job with the cabin!

Even though I’m in BC, kelowna to be precise- we call them Adirondack chairs. I don’t feel very Canadian knowing in Ontario you called them Muskoka chairs

Those chairs are called Adirondack chairs here in Vermont and in western Vermont we have a direct view of the Adirondack Mountains in Eastern New York.

You should build a porch with a nice outdoor kitchen and bbq area and with a nice wine-cooler. 😎 And no, as for the moisture blocker you were talking about at 11:55... the plastic ALWAYS goes inside of the insolation... tarpaper or wind-paper goes on the outside of the insolation. Also, between the tarpaper and whatever you choose to put on your outside wall, there is supposed to be a gap of about an inch for air to travel so the house a breath.

LOL!! my wife got two "Adirondack" chairs from Costco for my B Day.. I was also confused as they looked a lot like Muskoka chairs to me. I think the difference is its put together with Phillips screws instead of Robertson screws! lol If in Ontario obviously

Good day Mike, hello from Mike in Kanata Ontario. Like all your videos I found your site as I starting my own camper build. Been dreaming and thinking about it for at least five years made several plan from 5 by 10 to 6 by 12 etc and this year. I did go see to buy to buy a micro camper used brand new people are dreaming asking 3000. to 4000 for a ten year old camper of course 26 thousand CDN for a new one is not justifiable as I looking to retire in the next years. So looking to start my build in the next week or so so nice work and thank you for your ideas. Take care and continuous on having fun take care.

It’s called an Adirondack Chair. It originates and first built in Westport NY in the Adirondacks Mountains in upstate NY. My mother’s family grew up there and it was a guy by the name of Thomas Lee and he may have first called it the Westport chair. Someone by the name of Brunel stole the design and he got a patient for it. There was maybe still is a “cottage” down the street from my grandparents home on Lake Champlain. My niece was baptized there and as If I remember correctly it was a craftsman style cottage but it doesn’t seem like that should right. Anyway short history of the Adirondack Chair

Nice video my brother from another mother!!!!! The cabin is woodness hotness baby. Between the chainsaw and the fire and lizards losing tails it was like a bevis and butthead special. Everything finished out great inside and out and that baby girl of yours is sooo cute. Here in the USA we call them Adirondack chairs but here in New York we call them " you sit there , I'm not sitting on that effing uncomfortable thing" chair. Can't wait to see what you do next. Maybe you can get lowes or home depot to sponsor you. Free plugs for free lumber.

I would fill in the gap under the cabin with a build storage bin. And the rest with earth. It will keep critters and animals out.
