To Start I review a Woodriver Plywood Panel Cart as well as a Crazy Horse Dolly. I Decide which I am going to keep in the shop. Then I put my new slider to work for the first time with Miter Fold Floating Shelves. If you've never used this method to make floating shelves, you'll want to check this video out. As always, I really appreciate you watching and if you found this video helpful please give it a Thumbs Up and Subscribe to my channel. Brilliant cart! And that shelf turned out amazing. It's such a cool trick with the tape. Tried it a few times and it's almost like magic. Especially with mdf, the glue like just isn't there when things goes right :)

That dolly is pretty ingenious. I can imagine making something similar maybe with a flat top and it would make a great adjustable out feed support for table or miter saw.

Seriously it’s pretty amazing. I’m very lucky to have one. When I used the plastic bag over it, the wood slid really well. So without any mods it works as an out feed or infeed. Maybe not as good as a purpose built platform but good enough.

Panel cart is a terrific well made unit. I pull material ( 4 x 8 ) up a 20 ft ramp using my winch and remote. It tips the sheet at the top for simple one man access. Price was good also.

@@mikeoxmaul3849 it’s not good for small shops. My shop isn’t small but it’s too small for this cart. Plus I just don’t need anything to lift panels up to the saw. Glad I returned it to woodcraft.

Great to see the saw in operation. Is it 100% accurate? Do you prefer it over your old saw at this early stage?

Thanks a lot Shane. It’s been really great to make the transition from cabinet saw. However I’ll say it’s not without some hiccups. It takes a little getting used to. It is so accurate. I’m blown away each time I use it. You’ll see in coming videos just how I’m liking it for sure.
@davidbryanwoodworksandmore

Let me also say that the cabinet saw setup that I had was truly amazing. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I am not as efficient as I was with that setup so far, but that’s going to come soon. I just need more time with this setup. Not just with the saw, but with the assembly table and space to build. Since it’s smaller, I’ve got to get used to it. All the mods I made to the shop have been very nice for sure.

Well I got rid of the woodcraft cart. It’s just not for me and my shop setup. The crazy horse does good for outfeed or infeed support. I used it to help off load a heavy item from my truck the other day and it helped. But mostly it just sits under my slider and doesn’t get much use. When I need it it’s nice to have.

Hey thanks for watching. I’d love to help but if it’s not on the video, I’m sorry but I don’t have any dimensions as I took it back to store. I mentioned this in the video that it wasn’t for me and my shop. But it could be a great panel cart for me if my shop was a little bigger.

David, how large is the hemisphere? Is it wood and can you tell what the coating of the hemisphere is? I understand that the coating is some sort of anti-slip substance.

Hello there. I don’t know the composition of the top piece. It’s a grippy rubber substance. Something that the inventor made up I believe. The diameter is approximately 6”. I can say it’s very cool indeed.

Does that saw tilt both left and right? When you are ripping it definitely was a right tilt, but it appears that on the crosscut it was a left tilt. Are my eyes deceiving me?
@davidbryanwoodworksandmore

It only tilts to the right. The cross-cuts were at 90 degrees. Some do tilt both ways but not mine.

Woodriver makes a lot of recreations of other tools and usually are not quite as good. However, having bought one similar to that one, the larger wheels and more narrow rig itself, I would probably have tried some other ways to overcome your problems.

If I’m honest, the whole thing is not very good in my shop. Just moving the big sheets that way make it difficult at best. It’s easier to do what I have done. But the other dolly, is a whole other thing. It’s awesome. I am finding many uses for it.
