WOODSTOVE IN ICE SHACK FIRST BURN.

3 жыл бұрынA new Hot tent camping/exploring set up for me. I made a stove jack out of a 5 dollar silicone baking sheet and put my "air tight" stove in a 6 man ice fishing shack.
Lets see how this hot tenting is going to go.

Why would you install the patch right next to a vent?

Charlie that opening is a window where “the patch” is. It has to go out of one of those windows and that’s where I needed it to go. It is just Velcro’s on there so can go in any of the other 8 window locations. I do see a problem of installing it near a vent. What problem do you see?

I was just wondering wouldn't the fumes come back through the vent in the right wind?

Charlie I haven’t noticed it coming in through that vent but is a possibility I guess. I have a smoke alarm Velcro’d to the roof so if it does come in I’ll know about it. Good point though I will watch for that for sure.

Charlie Also I forgot to mention that vent can be closed as well. I did put another length of pipe in hopes it’d draft better but that didn’t happen.
