Putting a link to the actual Amazon page would have been helpful.

The brand name is fltom, i have yhe same stove, it is a nice little sucker, it would be great to have an actual damper on the stove besides the drawer, the flue damper helps alot, I'm excited to see how it's gonna do later when it gets colder. Thank you for the video, I've been looking for more recent ones, it does need different legs, something more solid, or weld the seems on the leg and stove connection base.

another flaw I encountered was that the connection between the flange for the chimney and the part that screws into the stove snapped. It should be seam welded. I've got a replacement en route from Amazon. Also it's worthwhile to order a stove jack flange, looks like an orange rubber thing. Should definitely have that.

also dampers can be purchased from amazon for around $15 I have one of those en-route as well.

The pipe connection on the top of the stove that screws down lasts longer if you leave it in place, they're kinda week because they're only spot welded together, if you leave it in place it almost welds itself together. Thank you for confirming that the rubber protector would be a good idea, I will get one ordered when I can next.

Which stove? Which model ?

I.need a stove. Thanks for sharing. I think those side racks are often used for drying wet socks & gloves. Which would be awesome cuz Vermont winter usually includes about 3 feet of snow over time. It builds up, melts then freezes. It's a pain & very slushy.

Similar conditions here. The biggest storm since we've been here was 18 inches in one go! I've used them to dry gloves since putting up this video.

Desertphile just posted a video showing his stove, with damper :) And weighs 16 pounds so it cn be carted around on people's backs. This one looks too heavy for carrying up and down mountains.

i have the same one and they added a proper damper

I hav a similar stove, my chimney attaches to the back not on top, I had a friend customise my flute with thicker steel and bought a damper, and 2 elbows off temu I use the smaller flute pieces at the end to extend and if I want my stove under the tarp I can use the bends to go out and up, mine didn't have a spark arrestor so I bought an exhaust grill cap and it works awesome...so I spent and extra $30 on the elbows, exhaust n damper... I love my stove... I jus need a hot tent now 😅

I got my hot tent from Vevor, only tip I have is to also buy a stove jack off Amazon or somewhere

@@mountain-man0 thankyou, yes I've watched a few more videos I'm a newbie and watch alot of yt for advice and inspiration and yes I'm going to invest in a proper jack and not the cloth type. I don't have a hot tent yet that be my next buy, I use mine under a tarp set-up with car camping and it works very well... thankyou for the tip

That is indeed one use of them.

But what is the brand and the name?
@mountain-man010 ай бұрын
Fltom tent stove. I avoided noting that in the video because these "companies" come and go every day. Just look for a tent stove on amazon and sort by price.
