Your vlog channel is so chill and laid back, a different feel to the main but they are both really good. With the difference it does give you a lot more flexibility in what you upload. Maybe some more shopping trips for supplies would be cool.

What content I like, well, quite everything, from the daily shopping and cooking to travel to personal family stuff or in your work shop, whatever you're willing to show.. The circumference of the 5cm blank is just under 16cm. So if 30 seconds = 600 rotations the strip was around 96 meters. Found the Vlog from the main channel. Thank you for the great content Ben & Nicole!

Does that include the thickness of the strip or doesn't that matter? I didn't do great at maths. 😊

If we’re trying to be super accurate I suppose it would be a small factor as while you’re shaving the circumference of the blank is getting minutely smaller as well. That sort of amortization calculation is a bit beyond me though.

I think on this channel I subscribed to see your holiday , travel, days out etc., whereas we watch the other channel for projects, my husband loves both, but I was looking forward to something different

I came from the main channel - and I love all the content you put out - I'm fascinated by your making videos, but I love the holidays, the challenges you do with Nicole, the banter between you two, and just regular trips to the shops. You're allowing us into your life which is super cool. I do wish someone had worked out how long that piece of waste was lol. I checked the comments but so far no one has worked it out :)

Stumbled on this.. thought it was the main channel. Happy to see more details on how it works. I knew it was more nuanced than just putting a tool on the turning items. Pressure & particular tools etc I hadn’t thought about. Thank you for sharing your experience with us 🌹. Edit: I thought when the (wet) sanding grit changed the water had to be replaced bc of grit in the water being larger than the grits, possibly scratching as it’s winding down to the finish.
