Woodworking: How to make the vintage game Shoot the Moon

Shoot the Moon is a game I played when I was a kid. I remember having lots of fun and laughs with this simple toy. The game came out around 1940 and I'll show you how to make one. What a perfect game to play and or make,while waiting for the solar eclipse on Aug 21st. Enjoy!

Hey, thanks for the informative video! I'm in the process of building a couple of these as Christmas gifts and referenced your blue print drawing. I believe there is a mistake for one of the dimensions. The width of the slot for the small base is marked as 2 1/8" and I think it should be 2 5/8". Otherwise the small base doesn't add up to 4 1/2". In any case, thank you so much for the plans! They were inifitely helpful!

Thats awesome your are making them for Christmas.Hope you get them finish on time. Use the Sketch up drawings for the dimensions , you'll see the slot is 2 1/2. Happy Holidays.

Whatever way is better for you, but if your asking me what I like better. I like standing at a table but I also like sitting on a couch playing it on a coffee table.. thanks for watching
