In todays video I will take you with me to complete my work day and then we will head to camp (Walmart) where I will share a few things I do to stay cool on hot/humid summer nights.

Bren, thanks for sharing the info. Been trying to save money by not using the ac this year at home. It's hot, muggy/damp and when I'm in bed with the fan blowing on me unable to sleep. . . . I'm thinking what would happen if I was in a car or van trying to stay cool and get a good night's sleep. Appreciate the info and advice. 👍💛

Much appreciated Chuck, thanks! Good thing summer is only 3 months long.

Prolly unrelated to this video but I just read an article about Tony Delivers out in Seattle. Guy basically started his own delivery business based on the idea that when the price point is similar across the board, that the customer will pick the one with the most transparency and the most caring customer service. So, he just started doing his own thing.

You should get a slim car window fan that you put in a cracked window. Turn it backwards so it sucks out the humidity from your car.

I feel bad for all those McDonald’s employees, that’s crazy they need to fix the Ac.

I heard the fireworks but thought they were gunshots. What a world we live in where a fan would automatically think of gunshots before fireworks! Thank you for sharing your night. Your car must smell amazing with all those orders. Also, have you ever used those commercial cooling rags that you simply wet, shake three or four times and wrap them around your neck or head? They're icy! And last for a couple of hours. I just ordered a pack of four because my car a/c is out and will stay out, as it's too pricey to get fixed. I was first introduced to what was branded at the time "Snap Rags," which are the same thing. A patient I was visiting in his home brought one out, dipped it in water, squeezed out the water and snapped it a few times. He said, "Here, feel it." I did, and it was just like it came from the refrigerator. He wore them around his neck. They are very soft. Please check them out if you are not familiar with them, as there are videos that show you how they work.

Awesome tip, thanks for sharing. I also thought the sound was gunfire, as I've survived a drive-by shooting aimed at a neighbor, but the carload of perps kept shooting as they drove past. Those sounds stay in your survival toolbox. Bright blessings. 💖

Thanks, I enjoy the intentional or unintentional humor in most of you vlogs. I think you’re an innately low key funny guy. This time it was walking away from your car and being sure to bring it to our attention, at your expense. I even reviewed that part to see you walk away😊. I wonder how many people rewound to double check the walk away. When I lived in my van I used a fan much like yours with the clip and multidirectional, but it was USB powered and had several speeds. It kept me comfortable all night set on the lowest setting. I was surprised that small person fans worked so well, cooling me not the air around me. When I purchased it I tried it out in my apartment instead of turning on the AC. It worked well in both situations. Take care!

Thanks, useful tips. But you're missing the most obvious one - rolling down the windows. A lot of people have those mesh window coverings that allow you to roll down the window while still getting privacy.

The fireworks people love to set off around the 4th! I don't get it either. It was such a thing wherever I lived in RI and MA, but not so much that I've seen out west. Huh. Crazy.

Excellent video. Really gonna check out your channel some more. Looks like you have plenty of room in the back of your car. What is it, a Subaru? Enough room to not have to do any extravagant build out for someone 6' tall? Youve probably mentioned all this in other videos. This lifestyle intrigues me...FREEDOM!!!

One of these days can we get a fuel cost analysis of one week's worth of working/living in the summer time (including idling time)? (Can use it for a comparison of similar work/life in winter once winter comes for a future video)

I guess I've officially become a grouchy old "get off my lawn" person, but I absolutely flipping HATE fireworks. They scare my dog. My Uncle used to not say a word about it but you could tell he was upset all evening on the 4th of July. Just really quiet and nervous. He was a Vietnam vet. Go watch your town's display, but stop making me worry one will land on my roof, stop terrorizing the neighborhood animals, and really stop making any Veteran EVER feel one moment of being uncomfortable. And get off my lawn.
@RoadThruGrace9 күн бұрын
Oh, man. I hear you. Here in Florida, the fireworks in the neighborhood starts two-weeks before and continues until a week or two after the holiday. I’m working on getting back on the road with my service/assistance dog. Take care. ❤️😊Bree & Blue🦮❤️

Do you ever get confused when working all 3 gigs at 1 time? And uf you have to pick up a dd order, plus an uber eats order how do you decide which order to take first? Thanks.
@brenpgrace10 ай бұрын
It’s just a matter of operating only one app at a time during a delivery and turning the others off. I don’t usually take two offers from two companies at once, that is risky, but if I do, the mileage Hass to be low on at least one of them so that I can move onto the next fast. Hope that helps.

I have found that I spend 10% of my total earnings on fuel. For example if I make $200 - I back out $20 for fuel.
