I wish Balboa Park could fix its public bathrooms. I've often thought the one by the organ pavilion and the one by the car museum need to be in better shape. They are not boarded up , at least, but they need repairs and also a lot of help cosmetically. Shouldn't the public bathrooms in our famous Balboa Park be in better shape?

In Mission Bay Park, they put in four porta potties while the restrooms are under repair.

We recently drove through a number of beach communities and parks on the way up the coast. All in clean condition - nothing like the awful conditions in many of the restrooms here. Maybe the City is too big for our City Council to handle; look at the new facility at La Jolla Cove, even though there appears to be an attendant there frequently for cleaning, the design has several defects. -drainage - privacy from above - swamp conditions outside showers, landscaping around the rest room facility is in poor condition; that was a 9+ year project. Public areas in Pacific Beach, Mission Beach are poorly maintained. At the Crystal Pier which is City owned, the deck is in horrible condition - nails popping up, uneven boards, loose and springy boards, deck screws backing out, dry-rotted boards, trip hazards everywhere.
