Taking stairs has proven to be really good for me. I'm 80 years old and not someone who exercises a lot but for over 30 years I have taken the stairs to my apt. ,and only one flight; It has absolutely helped me in my old age. I don't like elevators so that's why I started doing stairs and soon realized the benefits. My legs, thighs are strong. I also use stairs to go to upper floor i my pharmacy while most other customers use the elevator. two flights!. My advice is use the stairs whenever possible.

This video really helped me. Especially the end. My dad ridiculed me for looking in the mirror. For how many times I showered and for why I was showering. Who I was talking to. If I was “acting” different. And finally in times of distress I would lose my appetite. He would make comments on my body if I would gain or lose weight. I cherish this video deeply because it took along time to feel like it was okay to care about how I look, and to be a little vain :)

It’s really important to keep it up, not stop. Not worry about what you look like or when you’re going to look great, just know by doing what you know you need to do, the results will come naturally. My goal is to be Mr. Hotty by next year. I’m planning to spice up my life with my new look. ❤ love how you said to exercise slowly and correctly to avoid injuries (and avoid looking ridiculous). ❤

The only time it’s appropriate/proper to drop the weight is if you’re doing Oly lifts, and hopefully you’ll have an Olympic platform for that. This mental thing was an important hint for me. Because I listened to my inner voice and came to the conclusion that I am really ok with myself, even though I have gained weight over the past 5 years due to different reasons and even though I don’t like how my body looks now, I am still ok with it, I feel good about myself cause as a human being I give my best every single day. That gives me inner peace and that is a good feeling. Thanks Rajiv ❤

kind of random, but I'm loving the disclaimer at the start of the video 😆 I didn't think it was necessary (in the sense that to me Rajiv's videos are always family friendly), but I mean it's just incredibly conscientious and thoughtful and shows how much Rajiv cares about his viewers, making sure they feel comfortable, safe & giving them the opportunity to have agency of their viewership. Thanks Rajiv for always thinking of the 'little things' that actually are pretty profound + thanks for sharing another side of you & your life with us

This was great. Thank you. My husband and I love you. Would love to have a video on how to have a conversation- listening, not talking over the other person, getting clarification instead of making assumptions, etc. would love to have your take on it. Another video on mindset as you discussed here. How to stay positive? How to improve? How to be at peace? Love to get your take on that as well. Thank you for all you do and all you are and all that you will be! 😊 ❤️

Oh Rajeev, I’m a huge fan of your videos and philosophy on life and really loved this video. As a British born Tamil when you broke into Tamil “auntie” I just died! Because I (similar age to you) had the same comments except replace the word for “skinny” for “f*t” ! It’s given me such a complicated relationship with my weight and body which has fluctuated a lot but now after having two children I’m relearning to love myself and my curves! Also this video was a kick up the back side to get back to the gym! Thank you

Rajiv, I really appreciate the break down and specifics of your workout. To many people rush through this process and it helps to slow it down and be specific. I have worked out with weights for years but recognize that I have platued and gone backwards if that's possible. I stopped for a bit and began again. So this was very informative. I would however, appreciate your elaboration on pull ups. I can not do one as hard as i try. 🥺

It took me all this time to watch this video. Life storms and challenges can shake a soul. What I’ve learned…I can do hard things! Never give up! Rajiv…I needed this in more ways than one. It was far from what I assumed. You have an innate ability to connect with all of us, despite how uniquely different we are. You are gentle, compassionate and kind with not only yourself, but with others. Thank you for your words of advice and giving me motivation to be better. I love you and your platform… kind Sir!🤍 xoxo🎉
