Rajiv, I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I thoroughly have enjoyed each and every one of them. You are an old school, young hearted fellow. I am in my 60's and never never thought of getting old but here I am 60 years later and I don't like everything that I see in this era that we live in. I'm a 70's Motown girl who sometimes wishes it was 1971 and 15 years old again! But now that I'm older, I appreciate the older things. In my teens, I never ever liked old things, history, or anything that was before my time. Seeing the young person that you are, you are so well-rounded, articulate, respectful and have values. Thank you for your channel and I am trying to see everything you that have posted and I look forward to new ones!

i like the no talking asmr point but i wish there was some explanation why and how you do certain things... is this wet of wet or not etc

this was interesting to see how rajiv paints. nice to see he mixes all his main colors in advance instead mixing while painting. i want to know why he used a spray bottle to wet his water colors in stead of just dripping in some water from his brush... is there a special reason for that?

This didn't need any words watching the beautiful painting appear and the quiet concentration on your face was so relaxing thank you ❤

Check you out with the double entendres😂 You are hilarious! This was a great tutorial. As another viewer stated, eventhough I can not envision myself ever doing this, I do have a new appreciation for caning. I reside in Solebury, PA and we have LOTS of antique and thrift shops here to make anyone dizzy with pure joy! Your videos help me to better understand and appreciate all that I see. Thank you.

I did the same thing when in Florence. I treasure my Santa Maria Novella perfume and only spray it every so often and am transported back to Italy ❤

I found some leftover linen in my stash and thought this would make a great apron - and then this video popped up - and you're using linen to demonstrate! Meant to be :)

I love antiquing through traveling. St. Louis has some great antique shops if you ever go. My go-to items are old framed Audubon-style bird and floral prints. But it’s fun to pick up and item and dust it, while reminiscing about the trip it came from and how fun the experience was.

A sad sign of our times that something this basic (i.e. looking where you're gowing) needs a tutorial made and published on youtube. Now pay attention all you silly 'smart' phone slaves!!!

Wow what a difference polish makes. I have some silver dishes at home I’ve never touched because of the aged look. I should give polish a try and bring some new life to it. It really looks beautiful when cleaned properly

im not american but i know new york is really expensive..i wonder how people can afford living there and do all kind of fun things still.... all of those private classes rajiv has, a piano, a harp, all those supplies, hand made sweaters and suits etc are all expensive.. even though he thrifts a lot of things i cant imagine how this is done esp since rajiv isnt acting anymore and as far as i know only has his calligraphy and painting business... i would like some tips on how to have a nice live style like this and do all of these kind of creative things and travel with a normal job that pays barely enough for rent/water/gas/electric, food, insurances, some clothes and shoes and my commute

you need to be careful having the heavy pottery on the top. it is better to have heavy things low to the ground and lighter things up high

Dude....what street do you live on?? Are those... [what do you call them].... birds singing!?! As a former Brooklyn resident I am seriously impressed that you were able to capture anything other than car horns, sirens, blasting music and random people yelling. Well done, you! 😂💛 Beautiful as always, Rajiv. I enjoyed seeing a different format of video than you usually produce. It's so meditative and inspiring to watch you at work in this way. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
