Having 3/4 century of experience with mechanical devices, I would tighten the barrel set screws before tightening the barrel clamp, as you did in the video. Is there any reason to leave the barrel clamp tight on the barrel and thread it in? I have the impression that's how you did it on the previous assembly. I don't know but am certain that you do. IME, the best way to discover an answer is to ask someone likely to know.

My local gun shop advised me not to buy Fx as he said they were totally unreliable ,even though he had 5 FXimpacts to shift he wouldn’t sell me one as I am a regular customer. He said after he sells the Impacts he had in store, he would not be stocking any FX products as they were nothing but trouble for him and his customers

I own both impacts and pantheras. I enjoy my pantheras more then the impact. This is the only issue I’ve had with my panthera and I think I can get rid of the issue or lessen it even more. Maybe they had a QC issue or trouble finding good help. Orings can cause a lot of headaches and most of what I’ve seen as far as trouble with them goes back to orings failing or dirt in the system from filling. He could of gotten a bad lot from a new hire not lubing the orings or something. Doesn’t take much to cause a issue but they are pretty simple to work on if your willing.

If you know what your doing they are great rifles it sounds to me his customers don’t understand air rifles and he doesn’t have the patience to give them a real chance he most likely stocked them because of customer request and just didn’t know what he was getting himself into they are very different from traditional firearms He’s a firearm dealer not an Airgun dealer. Kind of pisses me off that he’s telling the customers that they suck because he doesn’t understand how they work.

When back setting the barrel spacing it’s best to use the magazine I have found.

I’ll have to check that. I always just move make the outer edge of the brass flush to the block of the mag well

So user this video was awhile ago. Any update on the poi shift? I saw a fix for a poi problem due to the carbon fibre liner being too long and it needed cut down 3mm. Just a thought.

When I hit a tree a couple of time, my Scope would go off. And I have to deal with the barrel being hit too.that a bad combination It's a bad combination

Sorry to hear that, I know your pain. I’m still working on trying to get rid of that shift but every idea I try won’t fully eliminate it. I’ll be doing one more video soon where I exhaust my last few ideas before I attempt to modify the gun. .

Their quality control is a joke, and for what you pay, insulting.
