Making Hydraulic Trencher Powered by a Gas Engine 15hp

Жыл бұрын

To build a trencher i used a 420cc 15hp petrol engine. I connected a two-section hydraulic pump 22cm3/8cm3 to the engine, the pump section with a capacity of 22cm3 connected to a hydraulic motor driving the digging chain and soil removal augers, I connected the section with a capacity of 8cm3 to the excavator drive and the hydraulic cylinder. To set the speed of the excavator drive and the speed of the hydraulic cylinder, I used an oil flow regulator, Thanks to this, I can smoothly adjust the driving speed and the speed of lowering the arm when digging in the ground. The maximum digging depth is 105cm/41inch.
I made the chain mechanism in the previous video ,

No, it isn't. This machine so over-engineered it's painful. For example, what's the point in making the oil reservoir as strong as a bomb shelter? Where's the precision in that?

Necessity is the mother of invention. The trencher came out amazing and it looks like it's going to save you a LOT of time! Well worth the effort to make it. It works so well you could go into business making them, or renting it out! NICE WORK!

That was a fantastic build!! I think the only part that I would consider changing is the engine as it did sound as if was struggling at times. The things that you build are getting better and better, and the quality has always been there. Thanks for the video 😊👍👍👍👍

Thank you 😁 Yes, the engine has too little power, I suspect that the power written by the seller is greatly overestimated, for sure the use of a branded engine would solve the problem :)

Looked like a really nice build. Only issue is you should drive the bearing in with a socket that pushing on the part of the bearing meeting resistance. For example around 6:20, the driver should push on the outside ring of the bearing instead of the inside ring (to protect the internals of the bearing itself). Keep up the great work.

This is an amazing work with a maximum trench depth of 105cm and a width of 30cm. I love the ingenuity and what I can only ask is the cost and maybe a list of materials and design specifications 😊. What kind of soil (soft, hard, soft rock, hard rock) can this trench. I know this is dependent on the bits and the cutter type. I have one of this that I bought from China and after I bought it they said I couldn't use for hard soil.
