i expected Kristie to stay in Australia to watch Sam's matches, As DvD and Ellie as well as Ann-Kathrin and Jess are playing for the same clubs, there is a good chance that DvD and Ann-Kathrin will also be watching their gfs. Yes, Ellie made a mistake, but things like this can happen. It's the same if you blame the one who missed a pk completely for a loss. Football is a team sport and a singular mistake is definitely not the only reason why a team loses a match. I watched the Australia-Sweden match as it started at 10 am here. Sweden was far more focused on the match and Australia simply didn't have power anymore. The matches against France and England left a toll on Australia. There is also a reason won all 3rd matches they played in at Worldcups. I can sing along many national anthems (Australia, Denmark, England France, Germany, Israel, Norway, Sweden, the USA and of course Austria). A little hobby of mine. Spain, btw. has no lyrics to its national anthem. I'll be rooting for England tomorrow and predict a 3:1 victory for England (although I hope 5:0 as I don't want to see the title going to Spain or Jorge Vilda,

Carpenter made a mistake she should have shielded the ball with her body before trying the speculative clearance. However, she had an English forward literally breathing down her neck and a split second to make the decision. She's only 24 she'll not make that mistake again.

I'm from Denmark, an yes it's totally normal to get kids before you get married, but it's also pretty normal to be married and then going to have kids. It is compination of a culture-thing and that we in the Scandinavian are one of most non-religious countries in the world. We are very liberal on that point!

Can’t remember where it was, possibly on twitter but there was a recent ( like 2 months ago) clip of Magda saying that neither her or pernille want to get married as it’s just something they have never been bothered about. But they do like attending weddings!( in the video she has lost her voice due to being at Hannah glas’ wedding)

Ellie made a misplay. So what. It happens.What is truly upsetting is the cruel,mean-spirited response of some people. Team Australia thrilled their country and for that they should be immensely proud. You support your team through good and bad and you don't abuse a player for playing. I'm rooting for England but no matter who wins women's football and by extension women worldwide win big!!!!!! GO RED STARS.

Could anyone really have stopped Hempo from getting that ball? She was tenacious…and seemed to want to get that ball more than ANYONE, i think! Poor Ellie 😢, but i did notice/have noticed that most of the idiot trolls seem to be male idiot trolls? Really really not worth worrying about yet more inadequate men with their small-willy syndrome? Meanwhile. 9.30pm on an English summer night finds me sitting on my swingseat, in the dark - save fir a gazillion gorgeous solar lights 🙏. But dammit, my zen place is not alleviating the anxiety i feel about tomorrow’s final!! I do think we’ll win (3-1), but actually I didn’t feel as ‘invested’ in this WC as I had during the Euros, and I know that, should we not win, it won’t be like old times: it won’t be a case of “That may have been our BEST chance of winning it!”. You never know. It was 1-1 at the time and the whole game changes with that blunder. If able to get to pk’s anything would have been possible. England was the better team but the best team doesn’t always win. The U.S. dominated Sweden but still lost in the penalty shootout.

For all the talk of how good Mary F is, she needs to improve a hell of a lot at the moment she is running in most of the game at a quarter pace, and when she realizes she needs to step up in the game is too late. The last goal was her fault she lost the ball and left it to others to try to defend but too late if you look at the replay have a look at where Mary is and on that look at the pace she started with and at the last bit .

Nah! Australia found it difficult executing their game plan and Sweden had a good defence. All Australian attacks were intercepted at midfield.

Carpenter hat einen riesen Fehler gemacht. Das war ein grottenschlechtes Abwehrverhalten. Sowas darf in einem WM- Halbfinale einfach nicht passieren. Punkt!

Klar, aber der Fehler hat Australien nicht das Finale gekostet, sondern die zwei Tore danach. Das Problem war einfach, dass bei Australien alles über Kerr lief was für England viel zu leicht vorhersehbar war. Fowler war hingegen kaum präsent und lief die meiste Zeit über nur dem Ball und den Gegnern nach.
