I personally think that it is an engagement ring rather than a wedding ring, but you never know. There is a couple I follow, Zoe (Australian) and Bianca (US American), who moved from the USA to Australia during the pandemic. They later admitted that they already got married in the USA earlier, which helped them get the admission to live in Australia.

Some friends are doing the moving to Australia from the US at the moment. For her being a US citizen, getting permanent residency is a nightmare, but they started that here. Maybe it will get the ball rolling earlier. Winter in Perth is rather mild, similar to here in Queensland jumper in the morning gone by 10 am. I used to work in a freezer.

Hi Australian here. Our summers are brutal, people usually go for an autumn wedding because wearing formal clothing in that heat is a nightmare - I would say from late March on is a good bet. Usually, April.

Honestly, I believe that Sam has an engagement ring 💍. Kristie isn’t wearing an additional “wedding band” like she would be if they were married imo. However, having said that, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were married for some of those reasons you mentioned. I do agree that they are going to get married this year. I actually think that it will be over the Xmas break. I only suggest that because the NWSL will be in the offseason so friends of theirs could attend the wedding if they choose to. I’m also thinking Perth for the Wedding which will be summertime in Australia. I’m concerned about Kristie’s injury to her achilles tendon. It can be a chronic injury and I don’t know how you don’t aggravate it especially playing soccer. Hoping & praying that both of them make a full recoveries.

At the end of the day 2 people possibly 3 people know what truly happened. Ash may not have cheated physically but she did cheat emotionally. I think Ash will regret all eventually.

Might happen all the time, but that does not make it right .. Ashley should have NEVER commited to having a family if she was not FULLY commited. She was one of my most favorite people in the world, I lost respect for her, as many of her fans, she will never get that back.

It’s still cheating. Cheating actually starts in the heart. People can spin things anyway they want.

We can only know what is said in public and unless we are in their inner circle of friends we will never know the real story. We are quick to judge but can anyone really say that they say all that is in their heart and mind to their spouse or even their closest friend. We are all guilty when telling a story we purposely leave out the parts that make us even a tiny bit responsible or culpable so we are the ones getting the sympathy. I have people confide in me about their relationships and I always get two different versions of the situation. I am not saying that anyone is right or wrong nor am I taking a side.

I don't think we will ever know the full truth about what happened, but it's actually none of our business. Some relationships simply don't work out for various reasons. If Ashley and Sophia are happy with each other, who am I to judge. Sad to see Kelly O'Hara retiring, but it's sometimes better to retire on your own terms while you're still well, than being forced to retire. Always great to see how many talented new players are shing the way in women'a football.

Team Ali all the way- there's no faking the hurt she was feeling! I didn't like the article much (from what I've heard here and on TT). It almost seems like Sophia is trying to frame the narrative in a similar way as Glennon Doyle did when she divorced her husband and got together with Abby, considering that one went over better and didn't seem to get as much scrutiny (at least I think lol). By trying to mirror some of the language, like talking about how unhappy she was in her marriage (have pity on me, feel bad for me) and then how there was a connection that was there from the beginning (in the group hangouts) although it took a while for her to notice it for what it was, it just raises red flags. The whole thing is very scripted and very PR feeling. I agree that the timeline feels very muddy and that maybe there was emotional cheating if nothing physical, but like you said, we'll never know. Timelines for other relationships have been muddy as well (e.g., Viv and Beth- her timeline from the book vs weplaystrong vlogs, etc) and one can make themselves an anxious wreck if you really focus on it too much, so it's probs just best to get over it and just accept the timeline as they say it is and just block/ignore the people you don't like/trust and move on. Sometimes giving too many details on the timeline just further confirms it for someone that XYZ did happen when it was meant to show it didn't so I think it's a situtation where you really can't win either way. (P.S. I love Viv and Beth don't get me wrong, it's just an example!)

Ali deserves better than Ashlyn. Ash never really loved her, otherwise somthing like this couldn't happen. Hopefully Ali finds the right person and becomes happy. She's pretty, at least prettier than Sophia and younger.

lol Ali is manipulation as hell and good at twisting things to put herself in a better light. Did the same thing when she was cut from the NT. She can't handle rejection and gets messy about it. This is similar to Sue and Megan, in the sense that no one is going to say publicly "I broke up a marriage..." (In sue and Megan's case, it was an engagement)...but, it definitely looks as though some fishiness was involved if you look at the timeline...even from adopting a second kid, to all of the messiness of last summer.

Ashlyn and Sophia never seem to acknowledge that cheating isn’t just physical. If they were flirting or acting in a way that they wouldn’t in front of their spouses (bad relationship or not) it’s cheating. I like Ashlyn but she seems very self centered and loves attention, I have no idea about Sophia, never followed her at any point in her career. I feel like Tobin and Christen will be friends with both of them, Tobin and Sophia posted a pic together at an Angel City game recently and no way are they walking away from Ali.

I believe Sophia Bush believes everything was above board and that Ashlyn’s marriage was over before they started anything, but that doesn’t make it true. As someone who proclaims to be a “girl’s girl” don’t you think she would have stopped and asked herself if maybe Ashlyn was lying? She was clearly lying to someone… why on earth would you want to start a relationship with someone like that?
