Some of my best games come when I'm bottom tier in my Tirpitz. I think the fear of being the low tier causes me to play more cautiously and be more strategic with all those flamethrower cruisers and DDs in tier 10 looking to turn any BB, especially German, into free exp. The rain of fire that normally comes with tier 10 matchmaking is what makes it so unappealing, even in a tier 10 BB. I can live with less survivability and guns, but no amount of health or armor can save you from this meta that causes nonstop fires.

Damn it Jingles. You can't just advertise a video that we're never gonna see and then expect us to be alright with it.

The one thing that sucks about being subscribed to Flambass and Jingles is that sometimes you have to see the same vid twice.

I think the shell at 10:55 just penetrated the weather deck‘s armor and went into the Barbette of the Nr.3 Turret. The Citadel Armored deck is too thick and at too steep of an angle for it to have penned that i think. On a US BB it would have been possible, since their Citadel armored deck is only 19mm wich is overmatched by all BB guns. Great Video!

It's been my experience that the loudest, most toxic, know it all players in team chat usually end up at the very bottom of the xp list at the end of the match.

I think it owes partially to how well his team opened the match. Especially that Gearing, He had the spotting, smoke up for the team, etc.

I'm near the end on death stranded and all i can say is WOW, they did a hell of a job on this story line and presention. This is becoming one of my all time greatest games.

Watched Flambass's posting of this on his YT channel. He was having the time of his life. His commentary during it was hilarious! When he came around the corner and spotted the carrier he was taking aim for it, but then the Des Moines popped into view and, well... You have to watch it. You'd almost swear he was high on something..lol Have enjoyed your videos since I re-discovered WoW last year and someone directed me your way. And you sent me scurrying off to find Flambass. Now you two are the ones I watch the most for the entertainment value and the tips I've picked up. Can't wait for your Captain to show up in game as I will definitely pick him up for my Mino.

@The Mighty Jingles, the citadell at 10:55 is not a shot deflecting inside the super structure its more likely, that the aft-turret behind the superstructure was hit of one of the 2 shots going there. maybe the turret itself or its barbette got penetrated

In every source I’ve read, the US 16”/45 cal (and /50 cal as mounted in the Iowa) are renowned for their accuracy. Yet another reason why I much more enjoy watching Jingles natter about another person’s replay than I do playing the game myself.

If you look closely at the turtle back armor, it has a spot on the nose where if you shoot at 30-40 degree angle you just need to get thru the extended deck armor, and hits in the citadel at about a flat angle, the reason behind why if he gives more broadside you will just get hits, is because the armor of the citadel is thick, but flat,with enough angle that's where the shell bounces, nose on thou the extended deck on german BB's are thick enough to bounce because of the normal angle of the hull form you can get a citadel nose on only if you have a big enough gun to overmatch that armor(Warspite, Colorado, most Ru BB's, Yamato and from less than 3 km range US cruiser super heavy AP from the heavy cruiser line,if you get a Kurfurst with his guns pointing the other way and you are in a Des Moines, by the time he gets them around to aim at you he's dead if he doesn't have suport, all you nead to do is get a close enough ambush spot, sail next to him and park on the right angle, just hold down the fire buton at about the spot where you are aimed at his low main turret, at the far right barrel from your perspective, when half of your shoots are citadels stop there, it doesn't take to long, think the premium high tier Battlecruisers and the Graf can do pen that spot, but I don't have them and I couldn't test them) that week point is on all German BB's with turtle back. If he would have aimed there, that would have been the easyer shoot to make, but that shoot from 10:56 is more RNG than aim(and I am not saying that you where wrong Jingles, you where 100% on point, but that spot from that short of a range is a 1 in 5 shoots max), that spot is tiny from that close of a range, and with the Massa accuracy...

4:52 I never understood WG's decision to make the American 406mm guns so inaccurate considering in reality, thanks to superior US fire control systems, the North Carolina and Iowa class battleships had extremely accurate guns. So accurate that the Navy didn't find it necessary to upgrade the Iowa class's targeting computer from analog to digital during the Cold War.

I remember the days when you could fail div into tX games with t2 DDs the umikaze 20 second torp spam was hilarious. back then flooding actually mattered and there werent a bunch of conqs running around printing new ships. the isokaze had better fish and was a legit threat.

citadeling the GK looks more like a bug than a 1 in a billion feature where shells phase through armor. Aeroon citadeled a "soviet union" in his hindenburg, and another cc playing the paulo emilio citadeled a kremlin with SAP ammo. I would be pretty pissed as the GK where im supposed to be THE BEST at that range just to be shit on by a t8 on a second note im still getting double damage pens on harugumos so id really like the bugs fixed now.

Actually Jingles.... I think the GK got citadeled because two of the shells hit the back of his aft turrets: either penetrating the turret, or the barbette. I don't think, though I can't prove otherwise, that WG has implemented a shell deflection system that complex into WoWS, that something like you described could happen.

4:25 Radar cruisers, aircraft, and anything with better hydro accusing search range than your stealth rating... (I'm not complaining of course, I've seen lots ofter 6, 7, and 8 destroyers bottom tier against tiers eight through ten, doing exactly that (or at least most of the time), and do very well. Could I? Possibly, but I'd say it would be a once a year event for me...

Superstructure is too thin and too vertical for bouncing the shell downwards. What happenned is his AP hit GKs secondary turret, penetrated it, then internally bounced on the angled turret front and went right down into the citadel below it. This often comes with a knocked out engine as a bonus. Most affected: GK, then Monty / Ohio, then a bit behind them Conq / Thund.

To be honest, as easy as Flambass made that look, it is still difficult to do well in a T10 match on WOWS in a T8. It always is. But given Flambino's skill (and the possibly overpowered Massachusetts) this kind of result does not surprise me in the least

Then looking at the map you realize Flambass (corrected) really stuck his neck out on that because of the placement of the rest of the team at the end of the game especially on that first push around the corner - Great play going on here Flambass and Jingles - nice going... We all wish for points like this - Kudos

Can anybody give/link to me a list of what ships from all countries are best at what? i.e. what are German BBs good at, what are French cruisers good at, what are Japanese destroyers good at etc. I've grinded to tier 8 in German BB and CA, and to tier 7 in French BB, but still have the faintest idea

I was watching this battle on over on Twitch, I commented that it would be nice to have a random battle where everyone in the team plays like they haven't been smoking meth for 48 hours straight and actually "acted right"...Finally got that game this morning, 6 minutes to wipe out the red team, i'm sure we have all had those games, but man it felt good.

It's so easy to become pink now that you can't automatically assume that the person is a team killer or even just careless with torps. Had an Atlanta with less than 1000hp sail in front of my Scharn guns while I was zoomed all the way in the scope. Fired my guns he died and boom, I was pink.

Once, back during when WoWs didn't have truly balanced MM, I, in the tier 8 Ognevoi, was the *only* tier 8 ship in a tier 10 battle.

I just start playing Warships about a month ago been with WOTs since Beta and wanted to do something different and I have noticed so far the higher up the Tech Tree I go the more Inaccurate the Ships become I hope it doesn’t get any worse? I’m at tier 5-6 with one Prem Tier 8 and it’s been fun but the Accuracy of my Tier 8 Prem is very frustrating that will be the Massachusetts I am so Disappointed and Deeply regret buying it, I kinda wish I had gotten the Tirpitz instead they cost about the same but some of the higher Tier ships @ $77 is ridiculously over priced I’m thinking I will just grind out most of the Ships I want on the Tech Tree
